It's been a while since I showcased my generative art collection. For this current mixed media art project, I filtered through the images I generated from Wombo Dream. They call her "Daffodil". Delicate as a flower touch, her ebony eyes speak of unbearable pain heaped upon her by her own race. Pure black, voluminous strands of hair weigh heavy on her shoulders. A long, slender neck set upon board shoulders glisten as the rays darker her bronze skin even further. Lips curved downward, they add to her mystique.
None in her family bears this resemblance. Reasons for the banishment were unclear. Rumors of aligning with other beings not of their heritage and practicing in the dark arts.
Daffodil withdraws into the shadows. An elegant, but dramatic flower bouquet is forever changed by the young woman who dares to embrace it. The bouquet absorbs her pain. Past, present, and future overwhelms the delicate gold and red roses.
The only petals that survive are ones depicting her hope for the family that shunned her, forcing her to live as an outcast among others banned from their tribe.
No matter the punishment, Daffodil survives. Now fully grown, the others who took her in, accepting her differences are now the recipients of her gifts of wisdom and knowledge.
In completing my mixed media art project, I included two of my pure fractals I created in Apophysis 7X, the advanced fractal rendering program. These fractals add a touch of color to the female image. The final image is that of a dark female with flowers in her hair. The image is striking, and was perfect to accompany my Wombo Dream flowers.
But first, here are the details of my Wombo Dream creation:
Text input:

Finally, I utilized Canva to blend the different type images. Below are my steps in which I begin with a blank, white canvas, then added layers of elements, removing backgrounds, resizing, and repositioning items as needed.

To a blank, white canvas I added the generative art flower image.

Removed female's background. Resized to fill the screen.

Added a graphics two-tonwed background. Resized to fill the screen. I chose a gray and yellow to contrast the brown in the female's skin.

Added the Monster Bouquet trading card.

Manipulated trading card to remove edges, resized and placed in front of female.

Added my two fractals. Repositioned them and completed project.
I share with you my completed project:

Thanks for taking the time to view my post. I hope you like my mixed media art project.
