Below is my first design depicting the Magic theme.

The design is titled If I Had A Hammer. I grew up in the late 50s, early 60s. Given the mood of the world in today's environment of controversy, conflict, over-reaching authority, and decline of individual freedoms, I was inspired to create a fantasy design that depicts magic called upon to solve the world's problems.

I share with you a song that bring hope to the dwindling society, some of which refuse to stand up and be held accountable. Some succumb to those who assert power where power hasn't been awarded. And some turn a blind eye to thee ills facing us.

This song by a favorite group of mine, Peter, Paul, and Mary, from the 60s performing live reminds me of what's it's like to wish for a solution. Even in that era, the problems facing the world, especially the U.S. were daunting.

For this design theme, I decided to retrieve my vision of a female from the stable diffusion program, StarryAI. She is summoning the magic of her hammer of justice from her diary of magical things.

I utilized Canva, my design program, to blend the two stable diffusion images. I chose a simple dark gray background and split the scene since the lady with the magic book was already a lovely image, I didn't want to add anything else to the scene.

• To a blank, white canvas, I added the female image;
• Duplicated the image and split it; positioning each mini image on opposite sides of the female;
• Added the hammer; removed the background so as not to conflict with the magical scene;
• Added animation so that the hammer would move from left to right toward the female.
• This completed the project.

Retrieving the images from StarryAI I felt didn't require a lengthy description and was pleased with the outcome.
