For my final mixed media art project for the Cosmic Creations theme: "HOME", I decided to share with the Community a collection of my scenes portraying the theme.
What I envisioned doing in this post was to present home in a variety of settings. Each of us envision "home" differently. The word is meant to convey not only a physical location but also a state of mind. For instance, home may be on the pages of an intriguing novel you immerse yourself in for any variety of reasons. You feel comfortable and relaxed among the words that convey meaning.
Leaving Kansas

Back when the time was young for Genevia, the world stood still. An idyllic place, one wouldn't wish to leave. The moment her father uttered those degrading words, she knew her time there was no longer welcome. Home was no longer where her heart lay. She knew not where she was headed, nor what she would find once she arrived. She only knew she couldn't go back. The town was too small and narrow-minded.
As Genevia stared up at the midnight moon, immediately, the sky turned burnt orange as if a fire in the universe had descended upon Earth. Its glowing embers beckoned. A burning desire to know what lay on the other side rose up. Not a star twinkling as far as she could see, she thought, the time is now.
The portal opened. Her timepiece stopped ticking. Voices whispered from beyond the gray mist, twirling until a crimson mass formed.
All I need to do is step through to freedom, she thought without hesitation. So, she did, without looking back.
At Home On the Beach
My quiet time. Relaxing on the beach, drinking my favorite breakfast blend coffee, looking out over the Gulf of Mexico, feeding the seagull, reading, then napping in my custom beach recliner.
I work out issues; put into place actionable items. Breathing in the fresh air from the breeze blowing in off the water is intoxicating. Just as the waves rushing toward you, then receding, takes your worries back into the sea. Of course, feeding the seagulls is my favorite activity.
My home in my RV away from home.
Sailing Away Home
Standing on deck with the wind at his back, Montreil prayed for calm waters ahead. Suddenly, on the starboard side, the mountain shook as if warning him to retreat. I pressed forward. On the other side was home. Drifting for over two years with his crew in search of riches, the voyages produced little in the midst of peril and death. The dangers were present even before they signed on. They knew and accepted the risks. But the rewards, they proffered, outweighed the dangers.
What shall I tell their loved ones" he pondered, with a heavy sigh.
Montreil glanced up to discover Deidre's face forming on the mainsail. Her voice floated down and settled on his shoulders. She would guide him as promised the rest of the way home.

Beach sunset scene // Portal scene sci-fi // Sci-fi landscape image
To a blank, white canvas, I added the background sunset sky. Next, the sci-fi image, then adjusted its size to fit the entire screen. I added the woman about to step through the portal, blending both. Finally, I added the title of my scene.

Woman // Jungle background // Light abstract background // Water bottle // Lawn chairs / Coffee cup // Gull bird // Blue straw
To a blank, white canvas, I added the abstract yellow and blue background image. Next, I added the female image, but decided to place it in a design frame. Worked nicely. Then, I added the jungle image in another frame and resized it behind the female. Finally, I added the beach accessories. The gull flying behind the water bottle is a nice touch.

To a blank, white canvas, I added the crater image, then switched the canvas background to black. Next, I added my pure fractals to create texture surrounding the crater. Next, I added the stable diffusion sailboat, removing its background. Finally, I added a female on the mainsail. StarryAI Procedures:
