For my current mixed media art project, I wanted to share a beautiful pure fractal that I created in the advanced version of the fractal rendering program Apophysis. The fractal features swirls inbrown, black, aqua, and gold. The pattern resembles a kaleidoscope.
To the fractal, I combined two other free-sourced images I felt would enhance the fractal by infusing an ethereal quality. Of course, I love female model images to work with. Second, fire and flames add a bold and dramatic burst to the scene. Below are the other images I used:
I then uploaded the images into Canva, my design program, to blend the elements. I leave with you my procedures which began with a blank, white canvas. I then add layers of elements in accordance with my upgraded Annual Pro Membership that includes tools to remove backgrounds, resize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required.

Below is my final project from the Canva blend.
I wanted to experiment with filters. One of the programs I use to apply unique filters that change the perspective of the original image is PIXLR. This program is dynamic in its tools and features.
So, I uploaded my original project into PixLR. On the tools Menu, I chose the filter REFLECT. This particular filter provides you twelve (12) different positions utilizing parts of the photo. I love how the program meshes the human image and the fractal and flames.

In this first version, the female image is duplicated. The program provides you different angles of duplication. The first photo's double female image lies to the left hand side. The second double female face is flipped to the right. The fractal is enlarged into a single image as a black and white design, while .

In this second version, the female image is tripled. I love how the shape of the fractal is designed. I think I like the second image the best just because of the way the three heads are positioned on the fractal design with the fractal at the top of the screen.

In this third version, four images of the female's lips are visible. The Eyes are concentrated in the center as one. The first image shows a black and white background. The second one displays the various colors in the original photos.

In this fourth version, I decided to use the fractal and fire only in different positions. In the second image, the female face is embedded behind the flames.
Thanks for taking the time to view my post. I hope you like my mixed media art project.
