’Tree of Life 🌳'
I created this digital mixed media artwork the other day. Recently, I’ve been writing about the dry weather and posting on similar nature-related topics. We haven’t had rain for a long time, and everything in nature looks dry and thirsty. My yard is trying its best, but I feel sorry for the plants. I think they need rainy days soon.
For this artwork, I generated the main tree shape and the background cityscape through AI. I then digitally colored and drew some parts by hand, added digital images, and applied further digital processing.
The tree depicted is an old elder tree in the city. In this city, there are a few green spots, and this particular tree helps heal the city’s atmosphere. I call this artwork Tree of Life. As you can see, the tree is also a home for people.
Let me introduce this tree’s living space from the bottom up. In front of the tree, there is a wooden bridge with a creek running underneath. Many wildflowers grow near the tree in this urban forest. Before stepping into the tree, you’ll find an outdoor bath and shower on its right side. The natural hot spring there is wonderfully relaxing, and, as you can see, the UFO is giving people a shower.
The tree has many levels of residences, each with comfortable living spaces. You may have noticed that a sky baby and a puppy are sleeping inside one of the tree’s bubbles. Some bubbles connect to other dimensions. Many birds rest, eat, and play among the branches. There are also spaceships and a space station, offering a place to rest for those coming back or visiting from the sky. This tree offers countless possibilities, and everyone peacefully shares its space. The old tree appears both lively and trustworthy. And of course, there are many mushrooms around it.
In the background, futuristic buildings rise above the city. A green portal floats in the air. This is my vision of our near-future living style, an absolutely functional and sustainable ecosystem. Almost every kind of natural resource can support life in this tree, such as rain, storms, thunder, air, sun, moon, wind, heat, cold, dryness, fungus, moss, earth, and more.

生命の樹 🌳
先日、このデジタル・ミクストメディア・アートを作成しました。このところ、乾燥している天候について投稿していますが、このアートもそういった自然に関する作品です。もうずいぶんと長い間、雨が降っていません。自然が渇ききって苦しそうです。私のうちの庭もかなりカラカラになりながら、頑張っているので気の毒です。もうじき雨が降って欲しいものです。
まずはAIでメインとなる木の形と背景のビルの形を作り出しました。デジタルで色を塗ったり、ところどころ手書きで描き加え、デジタル画像を入れて全体的にデジタル加工を施しました。
この木は都会の中にある長寿の木です。街の中にはところどころに緑があり、この木も含めて都会の雰囲気を癒しています。タイトルは「生命の樹」です。この木は人々が暮らす木です。
まずは下部から順に説明をしていきます。木の前には木製の橋がかかっていて、その下には小川が流れています。都会の中にある森には、たくさんの野草が生えています。木の中に入る前に、向かって右手にある屋外にお風呂が 見えると思います。これは天然の温泉がわいていて、とてもリラックスできる空間になっています。もうおわかりかもしれませんが、上にUFOが浮かんでいて、そこからシャワーが出てくる仕組みになっています。
この木にはたくさんの階数があって、各階に心地よい住居スーペースがあります。木の上にあるバブルの中には空からやってきた赤ちゃんや子犬が眠っています。いくつかのバブルは別次元へと繋がっています。たくさんの鳥たちが枝で羽を休めたり、ご飯を食べたり、遊んだりしています。さらに、宇宙から帰ってきたり訪れているスペースシップやスペースステーションも枝の上で休息しています。みんなが平和に共有できるスペースであるこの木は、数々の可能性を含んでいます。この長寿の木はにぎやかで信頼できる場です。もちろん、木の周りにはたくさんのきのこが生えています。
背景の都市には未来的なビルが立ち並んでいて、緑のポータルも空中に浮かんでいます。これが私が思い描く近未来の生活様式で、確実に機能的で持続可能な生態系です。そしてほぼあらゆる種類の天然資源がこの木での生活を支えることができる様式になっています。たとえば、雨、嵐、雷、空気、太陽、月、風、熱、寒さ、乾燥、真菌、苔、土などなど、あらゆるものがこの木での生活資源になります。
