Good morning, friends of Alien Art, I've been hanging around Hive for quite some time and always tempted but not encouraged to join this community, so I come today, for the first time, to share some of my art, and see if it fits or not, as an outsider style, weird, or that does not fit very well in other places.

Buen día, amigos de Alien Art, hace bastante tiempo estoy dando vueltas por Hive y siempre tentada pero no animándome a esta comunidad, entonces vengo hoy, por primera vez, a compartir un poco de mi arte, y ver si es que encaja o no, como estilo outsider, raro, o que no encaje muy bien en otros lugares.
Also, this creation came from the hand of a punctual anger I had last night in Italian class. What a nuisance that teacher gives me, so I tried to simulate this silly dialogue in a satirical way. What happens to me is that although I have shared other drawings and creations, they were more exploratory, and following different courses, it did not apply to share here, so today was the moment chosen to present myself to you.

Además, esta creación vino de la mano de un enojo puntual que tuve anoche en clase de italiano. Qué fastidio me da esa profesora, asique traté de simular este tonto diálogo a modo satírico. Lo que me sucede es que aunque he compartido otros dibujos y creaciones, eran más exploratorios, y siguiendo con distintos cursos, no aplicaba para compartir aquí, así que hoy ha sido el momento elegido para presentarme ante uds.

Without further ado, I hope you like the final result, and in all, what was most genuine of the conversation, was my own annoyance, asking something illogical, or the other way around, because I was already very tired of doing exercises and always repeating "we complete and correct" and never correct anything. It is very tiring, but soon the course will be over, and I hope to pass it, I am extremely bored and I love to study, and I love languages.

Sin más preámbulos, espero que les guste el resultado final, y dentro de todo, lo que fue más genuino de la conversación, fue mi propio fastidio, preguntando algo ilógico, o al revés, porque me tenía muy cansada ya de hacer ejercicios y siempre repitiendo “completamos y corregimos” y nunca corregimos nada. Se me hace muy cansador, pero pronto se termina el curso, y espero aprobarlo, me tiene sumamente aburrida y eso que amo estudiar, y amo los idiomas.

Since the class began I started drawing, and I was painting and coloring in and out, it was hard to decide the colors, but I really liked the first octopus in blue tone, although I also thought of making other versions and coloring with markers and not with pencils. Luckily I could explore for a while with the eyes, I really like to do this kind of shadows and lines simulating dark circles or big eyes, at the same time it gives personality and helps me not to perfect this part.

Desde que comenzó la clase comencé el dibujo, y de a ratos iba pintando y coloreando, me costó decidir los colores, pero el primer pulpo en tono azul me gustó muchísimo, aunque pensé también en hacer otras versiones y colorear con rotuladores y no con lápices. Por suerte pude explorar un rato con los ojos, me gusta mucho hacer este tipo de sombras y líneas simulando ojeras u ojos grandes, al mismo tiempo que da personalidad y me ayuda a no perfeccionar esta parte.

When coloring I had only one luck, and that is that these pencils are a bit like in crayon style, I don't know why, but their stroke is different, they don't mark on the sheet and combine very well between colors and tones. Although it is a different set of pencils than the ones I usually use (since my favorites are the watercolors) I wanted to give them a soft tone and highlight the colors and the mixture, but not to highlight only the very strong color. I think coloring is a world apart and difficult to distinguish, is there something better than something else? In the end the important thing is to give it a tone and see if it captures the personality, I think I achieved the goal, although in the photos it looks softer than in reality.

Al colorear tuve una sola suerte, y es que estos lápices son un poco como en estilo crayón, no sé porqué, pero su trazo es distinto, no se marcan sobre la hoja y combinan muy bien entre colores y tonos. Aunque es un juego de lápices distinto al que suelo usar (ya que mis preferidos son los acuarelables) quería darles un tono suave y resaltar los colores y la mezcla, pero no resaltar solo el color muy fuerte. Creo que colorear es un mundo aparte y difícil de distinguir, ¿hay algo mejor que otra cosa? Al final lo importante es darle un tono y ver si capta la personalidad, yo creo que logré el objetivo, aunque en las fotos se vea más suave que en la realidad.
I'm still considering to be in search of my own style, but I definitely look for something that I can color and if it has faces, I can make the expressions better and more defined. Also to add details like circles or small lines on the body, in short, they are just details that I like to highlight and I think they give presence to the drawing. I would also like to be able to do this coloring digitally, but I don't have those possibilities, surely I have a different style to color digitally. Someday I will try this.

Sigo considerando estar en búsqueda de mi propio estilo, pero definitivamente busco que al crear, sea algo que pueda colorear y si tiene rostros, poder hacer mejor las expresiones y más definidas. Además añadir detalles como los círculos o las pequeñas líneas sobre el cuerpo, en fin, solo son detalles que me gustan resaltar y creo que dan presencia al dibujo. También me gustaría poder hacer esto de colorear de manera digital, pero no cuento con esas posibilidades, seguramente tenga otro estilo distinto colorear digitalmente. Algún día probaré esto.
