Hello everyone! I'm lorentm, a digital artist passionate about art and creating unique characters. Today I'm excited to share with you my latest creation, a Simpsons-style adaptation of the "Dwarven Wizard" character. This piece was created especially for the art contest hosted by Splinterlands, and was inspired by the iconic Jaspers Beardley character from the Simpsons TV series. I love the way the Simpsons captures the essence of the characters in a comical and unique way, and I wanted to see what the Dwarven Wizard would look like in this style. After some sketching and experimentation, I finally managed to find the right style for the adaptation. I kept some of the original elements of the Dwarven Wizard character, such as his beard and outfit, but reinterpreted them to fit the Simpsons universe. I hope you like my creation as much as I enjoyed creating it. Hoy estoy emocionada de compartir con ustedes mi última creación, una adaptación del personaje de "Dwarven Wizard" al estilo de los Simpsons. Process / Proceso
First, I researched references to Simpsons characters, especially Jasper Beardley, to better understand his drawing style and how I could adapt it to the "Dwarven Wizard" character. I also reviewed images and references of the original character to better understand his characteristics and distinctive traits. Then, I began drawing some quick sketches to plan the Simpsons-style pose and composition of the character, making adjustments to his design to better fit the drawing style. I made sure to keep key features of the character, such as his beard and cane, while giving him a more cartoonish look. Once I had a solid sketch, I defined the lines of the drawing, then, I started adding color to the drawing, using a bright and vibrant color palette, which are characteristic of the Simpsons drawing style. I used different digital painting tools to add shadows and lights, giving more depth and realism to the character and the scenery. I also revised the drawing several times to make sure that the distinctive features of the "Dwarven Wizard" character were maintained in his Simpsons-style version, while keeping the drawing style of the TV show. Finally, I added finishing touches and special effects to enhance the quality and visual appeal of the drawing, creating a character that fused the characteristics of the original with the Simpsons style.
Primero, investigué referencias de los personajes de los Simpsons, especialmente de Jasper Beardley, para entender mejor su estilo de dibujo y cómo podría adaptarlo al personaje "Dwarven Wizard". También revisé imágenes y referencias del personaje original para entender mejor sus características y rasgos distintivos. Luego, comencé a dibujar algunos bocetos rápidos para planificar la pose y la composición del personaje al estilo de los Simpsons, haciendo ajustes a su diseño para que se ajustara mejor al estilo de dibujo.
