Hola, tengo tiempo que no paso por aquí ni dejo alguno de mis artes. La verdad es que casi no uso la computadora, solo agarro mi celular, lo cual me tiene un poco fastidiado. Pero se me ocurrió aprovechar mi momento de ocio para relajarme jugando con varias de mis fotografías usando PicsArt, a ver qué salía de forma casual.

Como hago joyería artesanal, últimamente me han estado pidiendo el ojo de Horus. Leyendo sobre su simbología y atributos, veo que es más que un amuleto protector, pues ayuda con los problemas de visión. Últimamente, la mía no está del todo bien, lo que me da algo de preocupación, pero dicen que son cosas de la edad. Ya tengo 43 años, ya soy un señor.
Continuando con la mezcla de imágenes, hay una foto de flores azules, mi silueta (que tomé en la montaña El Ávila o Waraira Repano, justamente en la estación del teleférico) y una vista nublada desde lo alto de la montaña con la luz del sol del atardecer.

Esta montaña, El Ávila, ahora forma más parte de mi vida regular. Desde finales de 2024 subo para asistir a una feria artesanal y, además, tengo la dicha de ver este cerro desde mi habitación.

Quizás el mensaje dentro de este arte es el florecimiento de los pensamientos y la conciencia. Los ojos, la visión para poder desarrollar aquellos pensamientos y la reflexión interna, el deseo de que mi salud ocular mejore, viendo la montaña como mi guía. Esta representa, en parte, a nivel simbólico la estabilidad, la abundancia, los muchos caminos para llegar a lo más alto, etc.

Proceso

Aquí pueden observar la evolución del arte realizado en PicsArt de izquierda a derecha: el fondo es negro, luego tomé mi retrato y borré todo el excedente hasta que quedó solo mi rostro. Coloqué la foto del ojo de Horus y borré para colocarla como mis propios ojos. Incorporé con transparencia y efectos de capa la vista desde lo alto de la montaña junto con el efecto espejo para que fuera simétrico, e igualmente con las flores. Por último, incorporé la foto donde sale mi silueta por debajo del ojo, que se puede apreciar a la izquierda. Al final, apliqué un filtro para que la imagen quedara pareja.

This mountain, El Ávila, is now more of a regular part of my life. Since the end of 2024, I've been climbing it to attend a craft fair, and I also have the joy of seeing this mountain from my room.

Perhaps the message within this art is the flourishing of thoughts and consciousness. The eyes, the vision to develop those thoughts and internal reflection, the desire for my eye health to improve, seeing the mountain as my guide. It represents, in part, on a symbolic level, stability, abundance, the many paths to reach the top, etc.

Process

Here you can see the evolution of the artwork created in PicsArt from left to right: the background is black, then I took my portrait and erased all the excess until only my face remained. I placed the photo of the Eye of Horus and erased it to position it as my own eyes. I added transparency and layer effects to the view from the top of the mountain, along with a mirror effect to make it symmetrical, and the same with the flowers. Finally, I added the photo where my silhouette appears below the eye, which you can see on the left. Finally, I applied a filter to make the image even.
