Good morning my dearest #Hive readers, happy Friday everyone, I hope you are all doing super well and that of course this has been an excellent and productive week for all of you; here greets you as always your friend Manuel, super happy to be able to share a new artistic post for my blog. This time I wanted to let my imagination flow and create or invent a new character, in this case I wanted to take the theme of fire as the main protagonist for my illustration, that is why I decided to create this character whom I decided to call by the name of (Furio), and which basically is about a young warrior who is dedicated to participating in all kinds of competitions and bloody fights in arenas and coliseums to be able to demonstrate his great skills and his terrible power; Something that characterizes (Furio) is his mastery of fire, he is capable of generating through his fists an intense and scorching reddish fire, which he uses as projectiles and throws them at great speed against his adversaries to cause them a lot of damage:
Muy buenos días mis queridísimos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz viernes para todos, espero se encuentren super bien y que por supuesto esta haya sido un excelente y productiva semana para todos ustedes; por aquí los saluda como siempre su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta ocasión quise dejar fluir mi imaginación y crear o inventarme un nuevo personaje, en este caso quise tomar la temática del fuego como principal protagonista para mi ilustración, es por ello que decidí crear a este personaje al cual decidí llamar por el nombre de (Furio), y el cual básicamente se trata de un joven guerrero que se dedica a participar en toda clase de competencias y combates sangrientos en arenas y coliseos para poder demostrar sus grandes habilidades y su terrible poder; algo que caracteriza a (Furio) es su dominio del fuego, es capaz de generar a través de sus puños un intenso y abrazador fuego rojizo, el cual utiliza como proyectiles y los arroja a gran velocidad contra sus adversario para causarles mucho daño:

When starting the sketch I focused on giving (Furio) a fighting pose, with his arms raised forward as if he were on guard ready to attack with his fiery fists. Once I finished the main sketch I could move on to choosing the colors that would give shape and life to my character, in this case since the character would have his hands covered in red fire, I decided to contrast the skin a bit with a slightly more sandy color palette, forming some musculature in the chest and neck area and detailing very well the details of the nose, eyelids and the corner of the mouth. For the eyes I used a scarlet red and a crimson red with the intention of giving him a fairly intense look, but at the same time open so that the character of (Furio) did not look like a bad guy.
A la hora de empezar con el boceto me centre en darle a (Furio) una pose como de pelea, con sus brazos alzados hacia el frente como si estuviese en guardia preparado para atacar con sus puños de fuego. Ya una vez finalice con el boceto principal pude pasarme a la elección de colores que darían forma y vida a mi personaje, en este caso como el personaje llevaría sus manos cubiertas de un fuego rojo pues decidí contrastar un poco la piel con una paleta de colores un poco mas arenosa, formando cierta musculatura en la zona del pecho, cuello y detallando muy bien los detalles de la nariz, parpados y la comisura de la boca. Para los ojos use un rojo escarlata y un rojo carmesí con la intención de darle una mirada bastante intensa, pero al mismo tiempo abierta par que el personaje de (Furio) no se viese como alguien malo.
For the hair, I used some paler reddish tones along with a bit of pink, here my idea was for the hair to be combed back from his head, with a subtle tuft upwards, in this case I always like to use my bristle brush to better define the texture of the hair and leave certain individual strands loose. For the clothes, I opted for something a little more casual, taking some brown tones and mixing them with the reddish tones of the eyes to create (Furio) a kind of high-necked shirt with folded sleeves on the forearms, and with some slightly more saturated reds I created a second shiny texture on the neck and sleeves.
En el caso del pelo use unos tonos rojizos mas pálidos junto con un poco de color rosados, aquí mi idea era que el pelo estuviese peinado hacia atrás de su cabeza, con un sutil copete hacia arriba, en este caso siempre me gusta usar mi pincel de cerdas para definir mejor la textura de los cabellos y dejar ciertos mechones individuales sueltos. Para la ropa opte por algo un poco mas casual, tome unos cuantos tonos marrones y los mezcle con los tonos rojizos de los ojos para crearle a (Furio) una especie de camisa de cuello alto y mangas dobladas en la zona de los antebrazos, y con unos rojos un poco más saturados forme una segunda textura brillante en el cuello y las mangas.
To create the fire in the character's hands, I took a few intermediate red tones. The idea here is to create small, individual flames from the darkest red, and then gradually create smaller flames one inside the other while lightening the red tones. This will ultimately blur all the flames and merge them together. Finally, with the airbrush brush at medium opacity, I lightly brush around the entire outline of the final fire to give it that sort of heat effect and life that fire has. Finally, I set the entire background as if it were the stands of a Coliseum or arena in which (Furio) is having an intense fight.
Para crear el fuego en las manos del personaje tome unos cuantos tonos rojos intermedios, la idea aquí es crear pequeñas flamas individuales desde el rojo mas oscuro, y luego poco a poco crear flamas mas pequeñas una adentro de la otra mientras voy aclarando los tonos rojos, esto para al final difuminar todas las flamas y fusionarlas entre sí. Finalmente, con el pincel de aerógrafo a opacidad media lo que hago el dar leves brochazos en todo el contorno del fuego final para darle esa especie de efecto calórico y vida que tiene el fuego. Ya por último ambiente todo el fondo como si se tratasen de las gradas de un Coliseum o arena en la cual (Furio) se encuentra teniendo un intenso combate.
