Very good afternoon my dearest community, I hope you are super well and are having a nice day, this time I want to present a new participation for this week's dynamics of the community of #Splinterlands, I must say that I was a little surprised by the dynamics of this week because usually when I participate I do it with works on the cards of the game and for this week the dynamics changed a little to the usual, we had to create something like a kind of idea or logo on (SPS DAO) to our own style. What occurred to me for my participation was to choose among all the cards of the game one to capture my idea that basically was someone coming out of the shadows and darkness trying to seize the gem or golden diamond in which the dynamic is inspired; the card chosen to represent my idea was (Larissa Kerato) because I love her design as it has good details but at the same time does not have very complex things in their appearance and their clothing .... I hope you like it a lot and without further ado I leave you with the painting process:
Muy buenas tardes mi queridísima comunidad, espero que se encuentren super bien y que estén teniendo un bonito día, en esta oportunidad les quiero presentar una nueva participación para la dinámica de esta semana de la comunidad de #Splinterlands, debo decir que me tomo un poco por sorpresa la dinámica de esta semana ya que por lo general cuando yo participo lo hago con obras sobre las cartas del juego y para esta semana la dinámica cambio un poco a las habituales, debíamos crear algo así como una especie de idea o logo sobre (SPS DAO) a nuestra propio estilo. Lo que se me ocurrió para mi participación fue elegir entre todas las cartas del juego una para poder plasmar mi idea que básicamente fue de alguien saliendo desde las sombras y tinieblas tratándose de apoderar de la gema o diamante dorado en la cual se inspira la dinámica; la carta elegida para representar mi idea fue la de (Larissa Kerato) pues su diseño me encanta ya que tiene buenos detalles pero al mismo tiempo no tiene cosas muy complejas en su apariencia y su vestimenta….espero les guste mucho y sin mas los dejo con el proceso de pintado:
To begin with I had the idea of creating the 2 hands of (Larissa Kerato) of a quite intermediate size to give the idea that they are approaching from behind, I drew both hands and the eyes of the character much further back to give a little reference of distance with respect to the golden gem and also because I had the idea that only his hands and his eyes of the character were visible, as it would give a touch a little more terrifying; to give shape and color to my work I chose fairly neutral tones, I chose a soft sandy brown, light violet, deep purple and so on. The painting of the hands I did with the color sand since the character (Larissa Kerato) has a fairly neutral skin, neither too dark nor too blonde, I started by creating some volume in the palms and fingers with my airbrush, the idea was to section very well each phalanx of the fingers with the right shadows and lights; in the next step I used a little more rigid brushes and I was creating the shadows and lights of the edges of the fingers with the intention of achieving a better realism, I also placed some deeper shadows between the fingers and under the fabric of the gloves.
Para empezar se me ocurrió crear las 2 manos de (Larissa Kerato) de un tamaño bastante intermedio para dar la idea de que se están acercando desde atrás, dibuje ambas manos y los ojos del personaje mucho más atrás para dar un poco de referencia de lejanía con respecto a la gema dorada y también pues tenía la idea de que solo sus manos y sus ojos del personaje fuesen visibles, ya que así le daría un toque un poco más aterrador; para darle forma y color a mi obra elegí tonalidades bastante neutras, elegí un color marrón arenoso suave, violeta claro, purpura intenso y demás. El pintado de las manos lo hice con el color arena ya que el personaje de (Larissa Kerato) tiene una piel bastante neutra, ni muy morena ni tampoco muy rubia, empecé creando cierto volumen en las palmas manos y los dedos con mi pincel de aerógrafo, la idea era seccionas muy bien cada falange de los dedos con las sombras y luces adecuadas; en el siguiente paso use pinceles un poco mas rígidos y fui creando las sombras y luces de los bordes de los dedos con la intención de lograr un mejor realismo, también coloque algunas sombras mas profundas entre los dedos y debajo de la tela de los guantes.
For the painting of the eyes first I worked on the shape of the eyeball in a more general way, I created a base with light violets and grays, the use of watercolor is very important here as it helps me to mix the colors a little more smoothly and without having to blur too much with other brushes; with the basic shape of the eyes ready the next step is the painting of the inner iris of the eyes, here I used a soft violet and worked from the inside out giving a little clarity to the iris just in the middle, then with a very fine soft-edged brush I created what would be the inner fibers of the eyes that give a better life and realism to the look of the character. Always after finishing the eyes almost in its totality I like to add a couple of layers more, one of shadows to represent a little the shadow that are produced under the eyelids, and also some touches or lines of natural light of the environment and bounce lights.
Para el pintado de los ojos primero me dedique a trabajar la forma del globo ocular de manera mas general, cree una base con violetas claros y grises, el uso de acuarela es muy importante aquí ya que me ayuda a mezclar un poco los colores con más suavidad y sin tener que difuminar demasiado con otros pinceles; con la forma básica del ojos lista el siguiente paso es el pintado del iris interno de los ojos, aquí use un violeta suave y trabaje desde adentro hacia afuera dándole un poco de claridad al iris justo en el medio, luego con un pincel de bordes suaves muy fino fue creando lo que serian las fibras internas de los ojos que dan una mejor vida y realismo a la mirada del personaje. Siempre después de terminar los ojos casi en su totalidad me gusta añadir un par de capas más, una de sombras para representar un poco la sombra que se producen debajo de los parpados, y también algunos toques o líneas de luz natural del ambienta y luces de rebote.
The painting of the gloves was done with a dark purple color and I worked the texture to create a kind of reflective latex fabric, the first thing was to create a basic texture with some light tones where the brightest areas were the ones that coincided with the central gem of my work; almost at the end I created some metal details with grays just on the wrists of the hands which are part of his gloves. The long claws I wanted to make them with a pretty deep purple color, first I worked a basic texture with watercolor, then I put a couple of shadows and glitter on the edges and finally with a small brush I created fine lines of glitter on the tips of the nails so that they would look a little more terrifying.
El pintado de los guantes lo realice con un color purpura un poco oscuro y trabaje la textura para crear una especie de tela como de latex reflejante, lo primero fue crear una textura básica con algunos tonos claros donde las zonas mas brillantes fuesen las que coincidiesen con la gema central de mi obra; ya casi al final cree unos detalles de metal con grises justo en las muñecas de las manos las cuales formas parte de sus guantes. Las largas unas o garras quise hacerlas con un color morado bastante profundo, primero trabaje una textura básica con acuarela, luego puse un par de sombras y brillos en los bordes y finalmente con un pincel pequeño cree finas líneas de brillo en las puntas de las uñas de modo que estas se notaran un poco más aterradoras.
In the final part I just had to give life to the big golden gem, for this I created a soft mustard yellow base and I gave the gem a pretty squared shape, it occurred to me to mix the yellow tones with a fuchsia that I had in my color palette and I hadn't used for a long time, and also with a pretty saturated green; once I mixed all the colors of the gem with the watercolor brush and everything looked just as I wanted all I had left to do was to add lines of glitter on the tops and edges. To complement everything a little more it occurred to me to create a dense haze of 2 shades, for the upper part I used tones like dark purple, dark gray and black, and for the lower part I played a lot with red and crimson tones; having shaped the whole background the last thing I did was to finalize details in the frontground, I gave the gem a little glow of intense yellow, and around the hands I created a kind of magical violet aura which also illuminated the eyes from the shadows.
En la parte final solo me quedaba por dar vida a la gran gema dorada, para esto cree una base de color amarillo mostaza suave y di forma bastante cuadriculada a la gema, se me ocurrió mezclar las tonalidades amarillas con un fucsia que tenia en mi paleta de colores y no usaba hace mucho tiempo, y también con un verde bastante saturado; una vez mezcle todos los colores de la gema con el pincel acuarela y se veía todo tal cual como yo quería todo lo que me quedaba por hacer era añadir líneas de brillo en las partes altas y los bordes. Para complementar todo un poco mas se me ocurrió crear una densa neblina de 2 tonalidades, para la parte alta use tonos como el morado oscuro, gris oscuro y negro, y para la parte de abajo jugué mucho con los tonos rojos y carmesí; ya habiéndole dado forma a todo el fondo lo ultimo que hice fue ultimar detalle en el frontground, a la gema le di un pequeño resplandor de color amarillo intenso, y alrededor de las manos cree una especie de aura mágica violeta la cual también iluminara los ojos desde las sombras.
