As a child I had recurring nightmares. Every time I woke up after, I saw shadows in my room that looked like they were staring into my soul. Some of them looked friendly. Some of them looked evil.
The idea behind the project was exactly that, harmless things cast seemingly normal shadows. But what are the shadows really?
I tried to keep the shadows of the objects as vague as possible to leave a lot of room for interpretation.
