Greetings, friends! Recently, I have been considering joining the July art challenge and wanted to create something that would bring together the four elements (water, earth, air, and fire) in a single illustration. Therefore, I decided to represent this challenge with a beautiful landscape.
A bonfire on the sand, surrounded by water and birds flying in the sky, was the perfect way to represent the four elements in a single image.
And although the idea of a beach landscape and everything else is quite common, I don't usually do many landscapes, so this is something new for me, and I'm happy with the result and to share it with you.
¡Saludos amigos! Estos días estuve pensando en unirme al reto de arte del mes de julio y quería hacer algo que reuniera en una sola ilustración a los 4 elementos (Agua, tierra, aire y fuego). Así que no se me ocurrió otra cosa que representar a este reto con un hermoso paisaje.
Una fogata en la arena, rodeada de agua y pájaros volando en el cielo fué algo ideal para representar a los 4 elementos en una sola imagen.
Y aunque la idea del paisaje en la playa y todo lo demás ya es algo muy usual, realmente no suelo hacer muchos paisajes, por lo que para mí es algo nuevo y estoy contenta con el resultado y de compartirlo con ustedes.
In this case, I didn't start with a sketch as I usually do, I just did the work in parts, so I opted to draw using somewhat improvised spots with a pixel brush. I gradually defined these spots and shaped them by applying shadows and lights.
First, I did the sand, then the campfire and some grass around it, and then I did the water, the sky, the palm trees, and the rest of the elements, which, although small, are equally important in shaping the illustration.
En este caso no inicié con un boceto como suelo hacer, solo hice el trabajo por partes, así que opté por dibujar usando manchas algo improvisadas con un pincel de pixeles, a estas manchas las fui definiendo poco a poco y dándole forma mediante la aplicación de las sombras y luces.
Primero hice la arena, sobre ella la fogata y algo de hierba alrededor, para después hacer el agua, el cielo, las palmeras y el resto de elementos que aunque pequeños, son muy importantes de igual manera para conformar la ilustración.
