Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! To participate this week, I wanted to take inspiration from the character of 🔥 Lord of Fire 🔥 and I did it in traditional, since I had not worked with watercolors for a few days and well, here I show you the process of this drawing.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Para participar esta semana, quise tomar de inspiración al personaje de 🔥 Lord of Fire 🔥 y lo hice en tradicional, ya que no había trabajo con acuarelas desde hace unos cuantos días y bueno, aquí les comporto el proceso de este dibujo.

I started making the sketch, taking as a reference a picture from Pinterest that I liked and that the boy had a very good look to inspire me to make this drawing. I remember I drew this character a long time ago and I didn't really like it, so with this new version, I wanted to stand out more and make a much better fan art.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando como referencia una foto de Pinterest que me gusto y que el chico tenia una mirada muy buena para inspirarme para hacer este dibujo. Recuerdo que dibuje este personaje hace mucho tiempo atrás y la verdad no me gusto mucho, así que con esta nueva versión, quise destacarme mas y hacer un fan art mucho mejor.

The sketch did not take me so much time to have it ready, but what I did for this drawing, was to leave a very good line art work, because I wanted the final work would be with a line art already integrated in it, remember that when working with watercolors, we must always leave the sketch very clear, because later it is very difficult to fade or erase the lines of it, but this time I wanted to leave the line art ready from the beginning and the truth is that it turned out very well.

El boceto no me quito tanto tiempo en tenerlo listo la verdad, pero lo que si hice para este dibujo, fue dejar un muy buen trabajo de line art, ya que quería que el trabajo final quedaría con un line art ya integrado en el mismo, recordemos que cuando trabajos con acuarelas, siempre debemos dejar el boceto muy claro, ya que después es muy difícil desvanecer o borrar las lineas del mismo, pero yo este vez quise dejar el line art listo desde un principio y la verdad resultado muy bien.

For the color palette that I would use in this drawing, the truth is that I took the same colors from the original drawing and integrated them as they were in my illustration, only I tried to change the tones to take them a little to the gray side and not make them so saturated, but watercolors allow me to work from the lightest to the darkest, so I had no problem to paint it more grayish the truth.

Para la paleta de color que usaría en este dibujo, la verdad que tome los mismos colores del dibujo original y los integre tal cual en mi ilustración, solo que trate de cambiar los tonos para llevarlos un poco al lado del gris y no hacerlos tan saturados, pero las acuarelas me permiten trabajarlo desde lo mas claro a lo mas oscuro, así que no tuve problema alguno en pintarlo mas grisáceo la verdad.

I worked the color in layers with the watercolors so I didn't have to spend hours and hours detailing everything and I really loved the result I got with this drawing. I worked little by little the color in the drawing, until I had the whole painting work ready and then I added some details with wood colors, I do this to enhance the color in certain areas of the drawing. I finish the illustration adding some glitters in the background and that's all, that would be all. It's simple, but nice.

El color lo trabaje por capas con las acuarelas y así no tuve que pasar horas y horas detallando todo y la verdad me encanto demasiado el resultado que obtuve con este dibujo. Fui trabajando poco a poco el color en el dibujo, hasta llegar a tener por completo todo el trabajar de pintura listo y luego me pase a agregar ciertos detalles con colores de madera, esto lo hago para realzar solo un poco el colore en ciertas zonas del dibujo. Termino la ilustración agregando unos brillos en el fondo y listo amigos, eso seria todo. Quedo simple, pero lindo.
