🍄Madcap Magus🍄

Madcap magi are wild mages of the myconids, a species of sentient, mobile mushrooms. Their magic is unpredictable, with oftentimes erratic and random effects.

While most practitioners of magic attempt to harness and control the elements, madcap magi believe this dampens the elements' potential. Instead, they've learned to channel earth mana through their bodies and their staffs without restrictions, letting it run its course, come what may.

While this gives them a level of power unachievable by other magic users, it also sometimes fizzles out, backfires, or results in something entirely unexpected. Madcap magi are willing to accept the consequences, believing the rewards of unbridled magic outweigh the risks. Link

Los magos locos son magos salvajes de los micónidos, una especie de setas móviles sensibles. Su magia es impredecible, con efectos a menudo erráticos y aleatorios.

Mientras que la mayoría de los practicantes de la magia intentan aprovechar y controlar los elementos, los magos locos creen que esto reduce el potencial de los elementos. En su lugar, han aprendido a canalizar el maná de tierra a través de sus cuerpos y sus bastones sin restricciones, dejando que siga su curso pase lo que pase.

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! For my participation in the Splinterlands art contest, I took as inspiration and reference the character of Madcap Magus and I decided to do it in full body, since I didn't want to do it only with the face, I hope you like it.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Para mi participacion de esta en el concurso de arte de Splinterlands, tome como inspiración y referencia al personaje de Madcap Magus y decidí hacerlo a cuerpo completo, ya que no quería hacerlo solo del rostro, espero les guste.

I started the sketch in my sketchbook, taking into account the reference of the original character. Little by little I built the whole character and once I had it structured, I took a picture of it and transferred it to my computer.

El boceto lo inicie en mi cuaderno de dibujos, tomando en cuenta la referencia del personaje original. Poco a poco fui construyendo todo el personaje y una vez lo tenia estructurado, le tome una foto y la pase a mi computadora.

Being at my computer, I went to open Clip Studio Paint to start with this fan art. I open a new canvas and add the photo of the sketch and then start detailing it digitally.

Estando en mi computadora, me fui a abrir el Clip Studio Paint para iniciar con este fan art. Abro un nuevo lienzo y agrego la foto del boceto para luego comenzar a detallarlo en digital.

When I had the sketch ready and well defined, what I did next was to start adding all the color, starting with a base color and then adding the others for each specific area.

Cuando tuve el boceto listo y bien definido, lo que hice después fue comenzar a agregar todo el color, comenzando con un color base y luego agrego los demás para cada zona en especifico.

I'm detailing everything little by little, adding lights and shadows in different layers until I have a great part of the drawing advanced, it's just adding color and detailing. After a while, I'm having the illustration finished, I just need to add a background and a couple of shines and other things to it and ready friends that would be all.

Voy detallando todo poco a poco, agregando luces y sombras en diferentes capas hasta llegar a tener gran parte del dibujo avanzado, solo es agregar color y detallar. Luego de un buen rato, voy teniendo la ilustración caso terminado, solo me faltaría agregar un fondo y un par de brillos y demás cosas al mismo y listo amigos eso seria todo.
