It's been 1 month since I drew Alice for the last time; a character from a videogame I'm very fond of, since she's Alice in Wonderland in a dark version. She represents very well what it is to be traumatized by things in life and how one seeks a way to overcome things up to a certain point without wanting to fall into madness. I feel very happy with the achievement I have made so far with this drawing because I always wanted to draw her as a goth, but I didn't have much idea of how to do something like this until now.
Alice me es uno de mis personajes favoritos en el mundo de los videojuegos, ya que como mencioné anteriormente; representa mucho como es estar enfrentándose por los traumas del pasado y como es que muchas veces el mundo es cruel contigo sin saber o aun que puedan saber; que sufriste mucho en la vida. Tristemente solo se han hecho 2 videojuegos, uno de ellos que es el más famoso "Madness Return" por American Mcgee, debido a la cancelación por parte de EA por querer American Mcgee hacer una precuela entre los 2 videojuegos, American se retiró del mundo de los videojuegos para seguir con su vida debido a esta decepcionante noticia por parte de EA, ya que EA es el que tiene los derechos totales del videojuego.
Alice me is one of my favorite characters in the world of video games, because as I mentioned earlier; represents much as it is to be facing the traumas of the past and how is that often the world is cruel to you without knowing or even that they can know; that you suffered a lot in life. Sadly only 2 video games have been made, one of them which is the most famous “Madness Return” by American Mcgee, due to the cancellation by EA because American Mcgee wanted to make a prequel between the 2 video games, American retired from the world of video games to continue with his life due to this disappointing news by EA, since EA is the one that has the total rights of the video game.
Muchos de nosotros los fans de Alice, también nos sentidos muy decepcionados con EA, ya que es una empresa que hasta ahora con el tiempo empezó hacer muy odiada por muchos debido a sus cancelaciones absurdas y tener la mayoría de los derechos de dichas cancelaciones, sin que uno pueda hacer algo al respecto. Entonces ¿Qué pasará con este gran personaje? Solo EA lo sabe, porque es quien tiene los derechos y lamentablemente los intentos de American Mcgee de recuperar a su personaje han sido inútiles debido a que EA hasta le rechazó de querer comprar el IP del videojuego para que American terminara de desarrollar dicha precuela y asi concluir con la ultima historia de este personaje. Bueno amigos, espero que les guste mi nuevo dibujo, acá abajo les dejo una pequeña recopilación de los dibujos que hice con el tiempo sobre Alice.
