Greetings friends! I hope you are doing well!
For my illustration this week I chose the character Silvershield Bard from Splinterlands.
The idea of the wanted poster on a wall I had long wanted to develop it, I also added the detail of the reward in DEC “Dark Energy Crystals” XD hehe to make it more personalized.
In this illustration I will be testing a couple of new brushes including the background brush that saved me a lot of work and the result was very good.
As a curious fact this character was thought for an animation but due to time issues it will be only illustration but I still think that in the future I will try it.

Para mi ilustración de esta semana elegí el personaje Silvershield Bard de Splinterlands.
La idea del cartel de se busca sobre un muro tenia mucho tiempo queriendo desarrollarla, tambien agregue el detalle de la recompensa en DEC "Dark Energy Crystals" XD jeje para que sea mas personalizado.
en esta ilustración estaré probando un par de pinceles nuevos entre ellos el del fondo que me ahorro muchísimo trabajo y el resultado fue muy bueno.
Como dato curioso este personaje estaba pensado para una animación pero por cuestiones de tiempo sera solo ilustración pero aun asi creo que en un futuro lo intentare.

Process/Proceso
We create the base of our drawing in blue color, I was inspired by the pose of the character.
With the base in blue and using a different color we create the sketch on a top layer, as you can notice it is blue.
Once the sketch is ready we create the lineart in black color using a very subtle brush for the eyebrows, later I will use a different brush, a curious fact is that at this point I didn't know if I would have the space to add the background poster or at least that it would be understood that there is a background poster.
It's time to wait and trust the process.
Creamos la base de nuestro dibujo en color azul, me inspire en la pose que tiene el personaje.
Con la base en azul y usando un color diferente creamos el boceto sobre una capa superior, como pueden notar es color azul.
una vez listo el boceto creamos el lineart en color negro usando un pincel muy sutil para las cejas mas adelante usare un pincel diferente, un dato curioso es que en este punto no sabía si tendría el espacio para agregar el cartel de fondo o al menos que se entendiera que hay un cartel de fondo.
Toca esperar y confiar el el proceso.

For the character and his clothes I used colors similar to the reference using my criteria.
Finally we add the base of the wanted poster, and we put a gradient similar to the background.
Es momento de agregar el color base, iniciamos con el fondo y un ligero degradado de tono oscuro a claro.
Para el personaje y su ropa usé colores parecidos al de la referencia usando mi criterio.
Finalmente agregamos la base del cartel de se busca, y le ponemos un degradado similar al del fondo.
Well, we start with the background, for this we will use this brush that download gives you the effect of rocks can be used as floor or wall, the problem is that only gives you the lines is up to you to give depth, but you save a lot of time working, the downside is that it becomes very monotonous if you cover a lot of space.
For the letter I used a font with that style but not being able to adjust it as I wanted I had to paint edit and modify, I know I put a lot of effort for something that will hardly be seen but the result is worth it.
I didn't want to darken the skin too much so I made reddish shadows.
Bien, iniciamos con el fondo, para este usaremos este pincel que descargue te da el efecto de rocas puede ser usado como piso o pared, el problema es que solo te da las lineas queda en ti darle profundidad, pero te ahorras mucho tiempo de trabajo, la parte negativa es que se vuelve muy monótono si cubres mucho espacio.
Para las letras use una fuente con ese estilo pero al no poder ajustarla como quería tuve que pintar editar y modificar, se que le puse mucho esfuerzo para algo que casi no se vera pero el resultado lo vale.
en la piel no quise oscurecer mucho por lo que hice sombras rojizas.
We added details in the rest of the character, this time I didn't want to abuse with the use of strong lights.
For the instrument I wanted to give it a more realistic touch and play with various tones also mixing with the blender.
Agregamos detalles en el resto del personaje, en esta oportunidad no quise abusar con el uso de luces tan fuertes.
para el instrumento quise darle un toque mas realista y jugar con varios tonos también mezclando con el difuminador.
We add the final details, adjust the colors and apply a new layer with blue color and the multiply effect with that we give a shadow to the whole drawing and then we erase slightly on the face and other areas, with this I want to direct the attention to certain areas of the drawing.
Agregamos los detalles finales, ajustamos los colores y aplicamos una nueva capa con color azul y el efecto multiplicar con eso le damos una sombra a todo el dibujo y luego borramos ligeramente en el rostro y otras zonas, con esto quiero dirigir la atención a ciertas zonas del dibujo.
