Hello friends of this dear community, I hope you are feeling well. Today I bring for you an artwork of Vampiric Blossom, a Splinterlands card that caught my attention. I wanted to give it a dark and gloomy touch, and as its name indicates that it is a vampire flower I gave it a face that resembled a vampire to have a better effect. As it is a Fan Art I took the liberty to make it a little different from the original but keeping its concept, so I could say that this is my version, I hope you like it.
Hola amigos de esta estimada comunidad, esperando se encuentren muy bien. El dia de hoy traigo para ustedes un arte de Vampiric Blossom, una carta de Splinterlands que me llamo mucho la atención. Quise darle un toque oscuro y tétrico, y como su nombre indica que es una flor vampiro le di un rostro que se asemejara a un vampiro para que tuviera un mejor efecto. Como es un Fan Art me tome la libertad de hacerla un poco diferente al original pero manteniendo su concepto, asi que podría decir que esta es mi versión, espero les guste.
The first thing I did was to make the sketch, I kept the original position and started from the lower area, I made her branches and then the upper part, with my idea in mind I was drawing her face and adding several leaves around her, I liked it a lot and it wasn't so difficult to do it because I had a clear idea. I tried to detail well his facial features, both his eyes and his teeth was where I focused the most.
Lo primero que hice fue realizar el boceto, mantuve la posición original y comencé desde la zona inferior, hice sus ramas y después la parte superior, con mi idea en mente fui dibujando su rostro y agregando varias hojas a su alrededor, me gusto bastante y no me fue tan difícil hacerlo porque tenia clara la idea. Trate de detallar bien sus rasgos faciales, tanto sus ojos como sus dientes fue donde mas me enfoque.
Once my drawing was ready I started to outline, I used black pencil, then I erased the excess lines and used marker to color the shadows in black. The black gives a lot of contrast and makes the art look better.
Una vez listo mi dibujo comencé a delinear, utilice lapicero negro, después borre las líneas sobrantes y utilice marcador para ir coloreando de negro las sombras. El negro da mucho contraste y hace que se vea mejor el arte.
I colored my drawing from the top to the bottom, I used different colors to make the blends in each area, from the face to the leaves and the stem. It was a painstaking process but a lot of fun.
Fui coloreando mi dibujo desde la zona superior a la inferior, utilice colores variados para hacer las mezclas en cada area, desde el rostro hasta las hojas y el tallo. Fue un proceso meticuloso pero muy divertido.
For the background I started with colors and then used watercolors, I also made mixtures of them to get a suitable color for the background. At the end I noticed that I had a mix between bright colors and dark colors, so I was giving several touches until I reached a point where I was satisfied, and that's how I finished my artwork.
Para el fondo comencé con colores y luego utilice acuarelas, tambien hice mezclas de ellas para obtener un color adecuaco para el fondo. Al final note que tenia una mezcla entre colores vivos y colores oscuros, asi que le fui dando varios toques hasta llegar a un punto donde estuviera satisfecha, y de esa forma termine mi artwork.
