Hello guys, I hope everyone is having a great Friday. last week I skipped the contest because I was mentally tired😩. I knew it was not gonna go well and I was right so I took some time off. I was going to post this artwork last week but it was incomplete so today I was able to finish it with ease. Anyway, I present to you Naga Assassin!
Naga Assassin
The Process
Completing this painting took some time. I did it slowly within three days to reduce the stress. I started by rendering the face and hair to see if it's worth working on. One of the light source was coming from the right so I rendered the character accordingly. The light from above was a last minute addition. I did that to add rim lights on her to enhance the aesthetic feel. I removed the rest of the tail because it felt like it didn't belong there after adding that jungle background. I experimented a bit with different kinds of leaf designs and this was the one I liked the most. It gives off an actual jungle vibe. Added some trees in low opacity mode in the background to complete the background and added a gaussian blur to it. After that the painting was refined a bit more to improve quality. I hope you enjoyed the process.
