Have a wonderful Monday, dear ones. A new week has begun, a new creative splinterlands fan week and a new... The year only has a week or two left until we can officially ring in 2025.
So much has happened this year, it's unbelievable. It flew by and sometimes Hive inspired and motivated me to draw regularly. I haven't done that as regularly in all these years as I have since I've been active on hive. Even if I don't know you personally, thank you all together for this lovely art community. It's rare to find something like this. The artists here are open, open-hearted, constructive and imaginative. I even think that as a kind of social media platform, Hive is the best. It is therefore incomprehensible to me why Hive is not more popular and better known than Instagram or TikTok, because it is so much more complex and versatile than other platforms in terms of what is apparently possible here. But well, I don't want to sing hymns of praise here, but rather present my @splinterlands fanart for today and this week.
Once again, I've made a powerful combination. First I drew my picture, then I ran it through the AI generator several times on the dream aka wombo.ai website (because it's openly accessible no matter where you are in the world and was recommended to me).
I thought one picture was really cool, but it also had a lot of mistakes on the hand or paw.
So I thought I'd paint it half new and any mistakes or things I didn't think were so cool I'd just fix with the brushes. A bit like I used to do in art lessons. Well, at least I had something like that in art class. But as a collage technique. We used to have a project (oh my god I sound like my grandmaaaa 🤣) where we had to cut and glue together a collage of newspaper pictures. Then we were supposed to let our creative juices flow with watercolor and partially repaint it into a completely new picture. It was fun and interesting. Well, in any case, I thought to myself that it could certainly be done digitally.
In the end, the whole AI picture got a renewal. I wanted the eyes to be a bit finer and the whole blending. Believe it or not, it took about 10 hours to draw my picture as a template for the generator. The cover up, renewal and repainting also took another 3 to 4 hours.
But at least I think that through such methods these AI techniques can be useful for artists, if a classical artist wants to try AI art but is completely against AI, you can at least use the techniques to improve your own pictures, get ideas and create or draw your idea from them.

Einen wunderschönen Montag ihr Lieben. Eine neue Woche hat begonnen, eine neue kreative splinterlands Fanwoche und... Das Jahr hat auch nur noch ein, zwei wenige Wochen, bis wir offiziell 2025 einläuten dürfen.
Dieses Jahr ist so viel passiert, unfassbar. Es verging wie im Fluge und mitunter hat mich Hive dazu inspiriert und motiviert regelmäßig zu zeichnen. Das habe ich in all den Jahren nicht soooo regelmäßig gemacht, wie, seitdem ich auf hive aktiv bin. Auch wenn ich euch nicht persönlich kenne, habt dank alle zusammen für diese liebe Kunstgemeinschaft. So was ist selten zu finden. Hier sind die Künstler offen, offenherzig, konstruktiv und einfallsreich. Ich denke sogar, dass Hive als eine Art Social Media Plattform die beste ist. Unverständlich daher für mich, war Hive nicht beliebter und bekannter ist wie Instagram oder TikTok, denn von dem, was scheinbar alles hier möglich ist, ist es doch so viel komplexer und vielseitiger, wie andere Plattformen. Aber nun gut, ich will ja hier keine Lobeshymnen singen sondern meine heutige und dieswöchige @splinterlands fanart präsentieren.
Ich habe wieder eine heftige Kombination gemacht. Zuerst habe ich mein Bild gezeichnet, danach habe ich es auf der dream aka wombo.ai Webseite (weil die offen zugänglich ist, egal wo auf der Welt man sich befindet und mir empfohlen wurde) mehrfach durch den KI Generator gejagt.
Ein Bild fand ich richtig cool, es hatte aber auch viele Fehler an der Hand bzw. Pfote.
Also dachte ich mir, ich mal es halb neu und alle Fehler oder Dinge, die ich nicht so cool fand, bessere ich einfach mit den Pinseln aus. So ein bisschen wie früher, im Kunstunterricht. Also, ich hatte sowas zumindest im Kunstunterricht. Allerdings als Collagentechnik. Früher (oh mein Gott ich kling wie meine Omaaaa 🤣) hatten wir ein Projekt, da sollten wir eine Collage aus Zeitungsbilder zusammenschneiden und kleben. Danach sollten wir mit Aquarell unsere kreative Ader dran auslassen und es zu einem ganz neuen Bild teilweise ummalen. War lustig und interessant. Naja, auf alle Fälle dachte ich mir, dass geht sicher auch in etwa digital.
Am Ende hat das ganze KI Bild ein renewal bekommen. Ich wollte die Augen auf ein bisschen feiner haben und das gesamte blending. Ob man es glaubt oder nicht, mein Bild als Vorlage für den Generator zu zeichnen, hatte schon ca. 10 Stunden gedauert. Das Cover up, renewal und repainting auch nochmal 3 bis 4 Stunden.
Aber immerhin denke ich, das durch solche Methoden diese KI Techniken sinnvoll für Künstler sein können, falls ein klassischer Künstler sich in KI Art versuchen mag, aber voll gegen KI ist, kann man die Techniken wenigstens nutzen, um seine eigenen Bilder zu verbessern, Ideen zu bekommen und aus diesen seine Idee zu erzeugen bzw. zu zeichnen.
