CHIMERIA - AI made with Bing Image Creator DALL-E3
This was the prompt I wrote:
"Chimera at the Cryptid Taxidermy Museum in post apocalyptic Wonderland, in heaven everything is fine by lady in the radiator and brothers quay, painting by H.R. Giger, by Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Hieronymus Bosch, Alphonse Mucha, Art Nouveau, intricately detailed, hyperrealism, fantasy, imperial colors; Bogomils Universe."
When you mix a salad of different artists into the prompt, together with other styles, you get results that are a amalgam of everything, and with every iteration, it is different. DALL-E3 is particularly grotesque when compared with other models that I use on Nightcafe, for example.
Cryptid Taxidermy and Bogomil's Universe are words I use frequently. They add a additional surreal weirdness to the image.
I often write my prompts deliberately in such a way as to 'confuse' AI and induce it to halucinate. I am not interested in aiming for a precisely laid out result, but for surprises. Surrealism is a trip into the blue yonder. If I knew where it would wind up, it would bore me. That used to be the case with my analog art as well. I very rarely plotted my path, but let the spur of the moment lead me. Sometimes with my prompts for AI, I also use Dada Poetry (or some writing I compose reminiscing of Dada).
What I like about Bing Image Creator is that it is free. Normally, the results are square, to get the wider screen (like the first image), there is a tab where you can change the format, but it doesn't always work. In this case, I was lucky it worked again.
A comment that could well cover most of my creations like this:
I don't care if people have six fingers, or horses got eight legs. Come to think of it, Sleipnir in Norse mythology had eight legs. Chagall's paintings sometimes had people with more than five fingers. The prompt I used here makes reference to a character in David Lynch's Eraserhead and another reference mentions Brothers Quay.

.... and since I mentioned David Lynch, Eraserhead and also 'Lady in the Radiator' in my prompt, here is a clip from the movie Eraserhead:

ARTISTLY
NIGHTCAFE
Those were from a year ago and used basically the same prompt. There are many of them, and every time different. from models used to platforms. I deliberately try with my prompts to make AI halucinate. A interesting recent article about this: What Are AI Hallucinations and Why Do They Happen?
I meant for this to be just a short post, but as it happens, this is against my nature.
