NO TIME FOR SLIMY INTRODUCTIONS, AND ABSURD EXPLANATIONS ABOUT WHY I MADE THIS POST.

I LIKE DOING PIXELART STUFF AND I LIKE CASTLEVANIA :D

XD i spent a couple of days vegetating, while i thought about what was the "simplest" way to make this animation frame by frame after i got the illustration done... and i'm honest, there's never a simple way lmao...

Context: when I do something I rarely see a tutorial... not to say never... which is funny because for those who read my posts they might see them as a kind of tutorial or a way to "discover" the secrets and techniques of a particular artist.

I on the other hand seem to choose the path of pain (????)

to try to understand how certain things work on my own...
looking at references, photographs, or like those times that i stare at my hand or other people's hands thinking about the best way to simplify such a complex figure, but !!! in a way that i can always remember .... the hand is a very complex figure and it's not enough to make a rectangle and cylinders since the hand has different shapes/silhouettes so the geometry changes according to its position, that's why it's one of the most difficult things to draw... that and the feet 💀....

ANYWAY!

I spent more time than I should have doing this illustration/animation, HERE it's hot as hell, we're sinking in pollution, and I got intoxicated a few days ago...

My anemia in itself doesn't leave me with enough energy for much during the day... so yes, it's been hard days and being an adult while being in constant fatigue is not easy, the world doesn't stop when you feel bad.

To all my readers out there who are older than me: I send you a big hug, being an adult, it is not easy.

I've mentioned before that I LOVE the enemies in these games XD because there are cute girls, there are a lot of male and female enemies and I love all the designs !!! so, this animation I made consider it as a practice animation.

XD pase un par de dias vegetando, mientras pensaba en sobre cual era la manera mas "simple" de hacer esta animacion frame por frame despues de hacer la ilustracion... y te soy honesta, jamas hay una manera simple lmao...
Contexto: cuando yo hago algo rara vez veo un tutorial... por no decir nunca ... lo cual es gracioso porque para aquellos que leen mis posts quiza los vean como una especie de tutorial o una manera de "descubrir" los secretos y tecnicas de un artista en particular.
yo por otro lado parece que elijo el camino del dolor (???)
tratar de comprender como funcionan ciertas cosas por mi cuenta...
observando referencias, fotografias, o como esas veces que me quedo viendo fijamente mi mano o las de otras personas pensando en la mejor manera de simplificar una figura tan compleja, pero !!! de una manera que yo pueda recordar siempre.... la mano es una figura muy compleja y no basta con hacer un rectangulo y cilindros ya que la mano tiene diversas formas/ siluetas por lo tanto la geometria cambia segun su posicion, por eso es de las cosas mas dificiles de dibujar... eso y los pies 💀...
COMO SEA!
pase mas tiempo del que deberia haciendo esta ilustracion/animacion, hace un calor horrendo, nos hundimos en contaminacion, y me intoxique hace unos dias...
De por si mi anemia no me deja con suficiente energia para mucho durante el dia... asi que si, han sido dias duros y ser adulto mientras estas en constante fatiga no es facil, el mundo no se detiene cuando tu te sientes mal.
Para todos mis lectores alla afuera que tienen mas años que yo: les mando un abrazo muy grande ser adulto, no es facil.
Este gif de abajo es de uno de los juegos de castlevania que solia jugar cuando iba a la escuela, ya he mencionado antes que me ENCANTAN los enemigos de estos juegos XD porque hay chicas lindas, hay un monton de enemigos femeninos y masculinos y todos los diseños me encantan !!! asi que, esta animacion que yo hice considerenla como una animacion de practica.

Sketch

I start with a simple sketch about what I want, I wanted a kind of mix between a witch apprentice and a witch, who knows me knows that for me is normal to draw characters with little or no clothes. While I'm sketching I don't worry about the lines or the amount of pixels that are out of place, I try to locate where my lights will be and where my shadows will be, the most important thing in this process is that the silhouette has coherence, that it makes you understand what is her hair, legs etc.

inicio con un boceto simple sobre lo que quiero, queria una especie de mezcla entre una aprendiz de bruja y una bruja, quien me conoce sabe que para mi es normal dibujar personajes con poca o nada de ropa. Mientras estoy bosquejando no me preocupo de las lineas o la cantidad de pixeles que estan fuera de lugar, trato de ubicar donde estaran mis luces y donde estaran mis sombras, lo mas importante de este proceso es que la silueta tenga coherencia, que se entienda que es cabello que es piernas etc.

Cleaning the lines

here I make sure that there are no repeated pixels, that the curved areas have the amount of pixels they should have and that everything is basically... perfect because I can not make changes to the character when I go to do the animation... believe me when I tell you that it's not a good idea I've been there 💀... you have the animation frames almost ready and out of nowhere you see an error and surprise, you will have to correct it in each and every frame one by one.

aca me aseguro que no hayan pixeles repetidos, que las areas curvas tengan la cantidad de pixeles que deben tener y que todo este basicamente ... perfecto porque no me puedo permitir hacer cambios al personaje cuando vaya a hacer la animacion... creeme cuando te digo que no es buena idea ya he estado alli 💀... tienes los frames de animacion ya casi listos y de la nada ves un error y sorpresa, tendras que corregirlo en todos y cada uno de los frames uno por uno.
