MandelBulb Eevee in Blender https://nftshowroom.com/tntdabomb/gallery/tntdabomb_frang_infinite-growth
Last week, I did something that not a lot people could've done. I successfully created and animated the mandelbulb using Eevee. While Eevee renders at a faster rate, it lacks the details that cycles has. Furthermore, a noob like myself will have to spend days working out the math and play around with the node tree. After scouring the internet, I found a pretty cool plugin on github that does the math for you! https://github.com/baldingwizard/Blender-Addons/wiki/Dynamic-Maths-Expression
Update:
I also want to point out that it is nearly impossible for me to render in cycles due to my old pc and the amount of calculations that the engine has to go through. I could try to get better details if I were to change the Volume Step Rate to less than 0.1
