Once upon a time, in a far off corner of the universe, there existed a beautiful alien world that seemed to be untouched by the chaos of the outside world. This alien world was a paradise, teeming with life and beauty, and was ruled by a powerful force of nature – plants.
The plants on this alien world were unlike any other – they were far more advanced, and had evolved beyond the need for light or water to survive. Instead, they had adapted to absorb the energy of the stars and the wind, allowing them to grow and thrive in any environment.
The plants were incredibly diverse, ranging from delicate wildflowers that glowed in the moonlight to towering trees that seemed to reach into the heavens. Everywhere one looked, there was a new plant to discover, and the air was filled with their sweet scent.
The plants had also evolved a special ability – they could communicate with each other through a complex network of vines and roots that connected them all together. As a result, the entire planet was alive with their chatter, and the plants would pass on information and stories from one to the other.
The creatures of this alien world had also evolved alongside the plants, and had formed a symbiotic relationship with them.
There were huge dinosaurs, who exchanged huge piles of shit for gallons of nectar. In turn, their many liters of sweet smelling giant lizard piss watered the land.
The plants might not 'need' water, that didn't mean that they didn't enjoy it, at times. Just like humans need their liquor or freshly pressed orange juice.
On the days when the dinos pissed and shat, the plants were chattier than usual. They loved a good fart joke and weren't ashamed to admit this.
Dinosaurs, in those days, weren't without a sense of humour either, and once the giants roared - in laughter - after a masterful poop or pee joke, the earth shook along with the sound, rhythmically, leading up to a vibration as powerful and heartfelt as the most beautiful music you've ever heard.
And all that, at a time, when music wasn't even invented...
Oh those were the days,
before all the ukulele-ness* took over.
(Not) sorry, @ryivhnn I felt like making this word joke and yes,
I know how to pronounce ukulele ;<)
Two days ago, I wrote about a programm called OpenAI. If you missed that, I suggest you read that post first: 2 versions of a new dino story, written in an entirely new way.
The illustration above this post came to me, intuitively, yesterday night, while I was sitting at my living room table, by the shine of a small solar powered light. My power was off the entire night and even my phone and laptop batteries had emptied out. I didn't even have any candles left. I felt drawn to my oil pastel crayons and this was the result.
Then, tonight, 24 hours later, I decided to add a story to this drawing.
I, once again, decided to give OpenAI a try and entered the following prompt:
Write a story about a beautiful alien world where plants reign.
A story rolled out that was okay-ish but, once again, humorless. So I added some human touch and a touch of humor to it, by adding a couple of paragraphs.
Can you guess where I started writing? ;<)
