Hey guys! How's everyone doing?
Today I want to share something I’ve been working on over the past few days—well, actually for a couple of weeks now. It’s a project that feels very special to me, and also something completely new in my creative process.
Until now, most of my work has consisted of individual pieces or NFT series with a specific theme, like Cyberpunk or floral aesthetics. They’ve always had a strong visual focus and a defined artistic style. But this time, I decided to explore a different format: a PFP (profile picture) style collection. I had never done a collection focused solely on this format before.

A while ago, I actually considered doing a Cyberpunk PFP series—I even created a couple of pieces—but I ended up shelving the idea and never moved forward with it. This new collection, however, came together more organically and has grown to mean a lot to me.
For now, I want to introduce you to just one piece from the series to ease you into this universe: Selene
"A serene face bathed in moonlight. Selene watches without judgment, wrapped in silver silence that quietly accompanies from beyond."
The series is called Ennéa Arcana A name I chose because it captures what the collection represents: a deep connection with certain elements that are intertwined in some way. Each piece flows with its own energy—both individually and as part of the whole. It’s a theme that really resonates with me, and I felt that this name was the right one to express what I wanted to create.
At first, I had only planned to make 7 pieces, featuring characters like Selene/Moon, Solis/Sun. But eventually, I felt the need to expand it. That’s how it became 9 portraits. The number 9 holds deep symbolic meaning in many cultures, especially Nordic ones, and it represents powerful concepts. I also didn’t want to leave out certain key characters who complete and balance the whole series.
I divided the series into phases. The first drop included 4 portraits, and recently I added 3 more. There are still 2 left to create, and they’re especially important. Even though they don’t represent natural elements like fire, water, sun, or moon, they serve a key role: they are the ones that, in a way, connect and unify the rest.
Selene was the first portrait I created for this collection, and I liked it so much that I decided to start there. Although the idea was to keep a consistent base for all the portraits, I ended up making several variations—I didn’t want them to look exactly the same. While some parameters are repeated, each piece has its own unique details that set it apart.
The collection is inspired by different cultures, especially Greek and Norse mythology. Many of the names come from gods and goddesses—Selene, for instance, represents the moon. This wasn’t the first time I drew Selene, but for this collection, I wanted to portray her in a more artistic way, with a deeper texture and richer detail than I had achieved in earlier works.
I painted this piece using Corel Painter, experimenting with various textured brushes to create a more realistic and tactile effect. I worked on the face to bring out a sense of life and used many small, subtle details, especially around the moon. There are tiny dots and textures that I love and that really bring the piece together.
The artwork started from a base portrait I had drawn some time ago. I wasn’t fully satisfied with it back then—it started off well but lost direction. Still, I kept the sketch and reimagined it for this new version, and I’m so glad I did, because this time I really loved the outcome.
I’m not following a super-structured method right now. I’m not documenting every technical step or writing a step-by-step tutorial. Instead, I’m trying to share more freely, speaking from the heart about the experience behind the art. If you're reading this, thank you. Truly. It means a lot to me that someone takes the time to read what I write. That alone makes me happy.
Recently, I’ve also been doing some live streams while working on these pieces. It’s been fun, a little stressful, and very new to me. I had never streamed before in my life, so that’s a story for another time.
I don’t remember exactly how long this piece took to complete, but I know it was the first in the series and it made me really happy—I felt like I had finally captured what I was aiming for. The full collection is minted on Skurpy. The first four pieces are already part of a collector’s gallery, and the most recent three are still available.
Thank you very much for taking the time to view my work.
