Greetings my dear Hive community!!!

Hola amigos y fanáticos de @Splinterlands!!! Buenas noches!!!🫶🏻

Vaya semana que he tenido! Ha sido un caos total. Por ejemplo, este diseño que verán en mi nuevo post estuvo listo desde el martes, pero debido a los bajones y las fallas en la electricidad, mi archivo PSD se dañó justo antes de terminar 😱🥺😭😭😭... JODEEEEER perdí todo mi trabajo!!! Sí, en serio, me quería morir!!! 🤬

Me había pasado cuatro días enteros trabajando en ese diseño y que haya perdido todo mi trabajo... Es duro. Todo fue en vano! La verdad es que me puse muy triste, pero no me di por vencida. Limpié mis lágrimas y me dispuse a trabajar de nuevo. 🥺😢💪🏻

Afortunadamente, el vídeo que estaba haciendo se guardó sin problemas. Mientras trabajaba en mi diseño "nuevamente", dejé de grabar hasta que mas o menos llegue a la ultima parte donde se me había dañado el archivo PSD y en ese punto volví a retomar la grabación de mi pantalla.

Con todo el trabajo atrasado, (tanto en los NFTs que estoy haciendo como en las comisiones, además de los deberes de mi hogar), podría haber dejado todo así y no haber participado esta semana. En serio, estaba muy enojada. Normalmente no me molesto por nada, porque siempre trato de llevar una vida en paz y armonía. SOY MUY FELIZ y me gusta ser así!!! Pero en esta ocasión, perdí mucho trabajo y me sentía muy molesta por ello.

A pesar de todo, decidí seguir adelante porque me gustaba mucho lo que estaba haciendo. Era algo nuevo para mí, ya que lo estaba haciendo por primera vez para el concurso de #Splinterlands. Así que aquí estoy, luchando hasta el final!!! 💖💖💖

Antes de hablar sobre el trabajo que hice para esta semana les quiero compartir mi fanatismo por dos Animé que vi cuando era muy niña: Digimon y Yu-Gi-Oh! Recuerdo con mucho cariño cómo los Digimones evolucionaban a criaturas asombrosas. Mi Digimon favorito era Gatomon, y cuando evolucionaba a Angewomon, era simplemente impresionante!!! En cuanto a Yu-Gi-Oh!, me encantaba la temática del juego de cartas y los monstruos increíbles que podían salir. Ademas que podías invocar cartas del cementerio o podías hacer sacrificios para invocar a monstruos aun mas increíbles y poderosos. Si alguna vez #Splinterlands permitiera ese tipo de cosas, sería ÉPICO!!!. 😱🫣🤯

What a week I've had! It's been total chaos. For example, this design that you'll see in my new post was ready since Tuesday, but due to power outages and failures, my PSD file was damaged just before finishing 😱🥺😭😭😭... FUCKKKK, I lost all my work!!! Yes, seriously, I wanted to die!!! 🤬

I had spent four whole days working on that design and to have lost all my work... It's hard. Everything was in vain! The truth is that I became very sad, but I didn't give up. I wiped my tears and got back to work. 🥺😢💪🏻

Fortunately, the video I was making was saved without any problems. While working on my design "again", I stopped recording until I got to the last part where the PSD file had been damaged and at that point I resumed recording my screen.

With all the work behind schedule (both on the NFTs I'm making and commissions, as well as the duties of my home), I could have left everything like that and not participated this week. Seriously, I was very angry. Normally I don't get upset about anything, because I always try to lead a peaceful and harmonious life. I AM VERY HAPPY and I like being that way!!! But this time, I lost a lot of work and I felt very upset about it.

Despite everything, I decided to move forward because I really liked what I was doing. It was something new for me, since I was doing it for the first time for the #Splinterlands contest. So here I am, fighting until the end!!! 💖💖💖

Before talking about the work I did for this week, I want to share my fandom for two Anime that I watched when I was very young: Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh! I remember with great affection how the Digimons evolved into amazing creatures. My favorite Digimon was Gatomon, and when she evolved into Angewomon, it was simply awesome!!! As for Yu-Gi-Oh!, I loved the theme of the card game and the incredible monsters that could come out. Besides, you could summon cards from the graveyard or make sacrifices to summon even more incredible and powerful monsters. If #Splinterlands ever allowed that kind of thing, it would be EPIC!!!. 😱🫣🤯

Así que mi participación en el concurso de esta semana trata sobre una idea que tuve: poder fusionar cartas en nuestros mazos. Imagínense que tuviéramos algunos artilugios o cartas de fusión, podríamos sacrificar a dos cartas para que renacieran como una criatura más fuerte e impresionante. Sería una total locura!!!

Tenía muchas ideas para las cartas que quería fusionar, pero pensé que ya eran demasiado poderosas, así que me decidí por cartas un poco más "normales". La primera carta que se me vino a la mente fue la de "FURIOUS CHICKEN", una carta que, al menos cuando yo jugaba, solo servía para usarla estratégicamente, gracias a que era una carta de costo 0. Y para la segunda carta, me fui al Splinter de la Tierra y elegí la carta llamada "MADCAP MAGUS", que parecía la más idónea para realizar esta fusión.

So my participation in this week's contest is about an idea I had: the ability to fuse cards in our decks. Imagine if we had some gadgets or fusion cards, we could sacrifice two cards so they would be reborn as a stronger and more impressive creature. It would be totally crazy!!!

I had many ideas for the cards I wanted to fuse, but I thought they were already too powerful, so I decided to choose cards that were a bit more "normal". The first card that came to mind was "FURIOUS CHICKEN", a card that, at least when I played, only served to use strategically, thanks to being a zero-cost card. And for the second card, I went to the Earth Splinter and chose the card called "MADCAP MAGUS", which seemed the most suitable for this fusion.

Furious Chicken

La verdad es que no fue una tarea fácil, pero qué aburrido si fuera demasiado fácil, cierto? 🫲🏻😋🫱🏻

En fin, tuve que recurrir a mi cuaderno de bocetos para poder plasmar algunas ideas, ya que no tenía electricidad ese día. Pero seguí adelante, hasta que logré tener 3 o 4 posibles posiciones para empezar a trabajar en mi diseño.

Finalmente, cuando llegó la tan esperada electricidad, me fui corriendo a mi Pc para seleccionar la mejor posición y empezar a darle vida a mi personaje. Como siempre, confié en mi subconsciente para que me ayudara a encontrar la idea perfecta, y después de algunos rituales (~~sí... Soy un poco supersticiosa, ¿y qué?~~ 🫣😅🤣🤣🤣) finalmente llegó la inspiración.

A partir de ahí, comencé a agregar y quitar elementos en mi diseño, hasta que logré la fusión perfecta de estas dos cartas. De igual forma mas abajo te contaré mejor sobre mi proceso creativo, así que sigue leyendo si quieres conocer más detalles. 📝📝📝

Madcap Magus

The truth is, it wasn't an easy task, but how boring would it be if it was too easy, right? 🫲🏻😋🫱🏻

Anyway, I had to resort to my sketchbook to capture some ideas since I didn't have electricity that day. But I persisted until I managed to have 3 or 4 possible positions to start working on my design.

Finally, when the long-awaited electricity arrived, I rushed to my computer to select the best position and start giving life to my character. As always, I trusted my subconscious to help me find the perfect idea, and after some rituals (~~yes... I'm a bit superstitious, so what?~~ 🫣😅🤣🤣🤣), inspiration finally came.

From there, I began to add and remove elements in my design until I achieved the perfect fusion of these two cards. I will also tell you more about my creative process below, so keep reading if you want to know more details. 📝📝📝

This design took me quite a bit of work, I couldn't just make spots on Ps and hope that something good would come out of it. I needed a clear idea to avoid problems later on and so, as I said before, I created four possible sketches until I arrived at the position I wanted. 😎😎😎

Este diseño me llevó bastante trabajo, no podía simplemente hacer manchas en Ps y esperar que algo bueno saliera de eso. Necesitaba una idea clara para evitar problemas más adelante y por eso, como dije anteriormente, cree cuatro posibles bocetos hasta que llegué a la posición que quería. 😎😎😎

Once I had a clear idea, I began working on the basic elements of my drawing. It was something simple, but it already gave an idea of what I wanted to achieve. At first, I made the hands large because Madcap Magus has large hands, but after looking at it in more detail, I reduced them a bit so they didn't look so exaggerated. 🤔🫲🏻🫱🏻

Una vez que tuve la idea clara, comencé a trabajar en las primeras bases de mi dibujo. Fue algo sencillo pero ya daba una idea de lo que quería lograr. Al principio, hice las manos grandes debido a que Madcap Magus así las tiene, pero después de verla con más detalle, las reduje un poco para que no se vieran tan exageradas.

I decided to add a bit more color to give the drawing more life. I modified the wings of the Furious Chicken because the original has white wings, but I wanted a gradient. Once I finished that part, I realized that it looked much better. 🎨🖌️

Decidí agregar un poco más de color para darle más vida al dibujo. Modifiqué las alas de la "gallina", ya que la original las tiene blancas, pero yo quería un degradado. Una vez que terminé esa parte, me di cuenta de que ya se veía mucho mejor. 🎨🖌️

But then came the moment of the character's face, and here I had some mixed feelings. The combination of Furious Chicken and Madcap Magus was quite strange for me. I had never done anything like this before, so it took me a bit more work. But with a bit more effort, everything was solved... It was all part of this challenge. 😋💪🏻💪🏻

Pero llegó el momento de la cara del personaje y aquí tuve algunos sentimientos encontrados. La combinación de Furious Chicken and Madcap Magus era bastante rara para mí, nunca había hecho algo así antes, por lo que me costó un poco más de trabajo. Pero con un poco más de esfuerzo, todo se solucionó... Todo era parte de este reto. 😋💪🏻💪🏻

At this point, everything seemed to be going better in my opinion. I adjusted the colors, which were somewhat desaturated before, and took my time to find the appropriate color combination for the fusion of Furious Chicken and Madcap Magus. It seemed like I was starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but suddenly, the PSD file became corrupted, and I lost all my work. I'm still upset about it. Anyway, let's continue. 🥺👇🏻

En este punto a mi parecer todo comenzó a ir mejor. Ajusté los colores, que antes estaban algo desaturados, y me tomé mi tiempo para encontrar la combinación de colores adecuada para la fusión de Furious Chicken and Madcap Magus. Parecía que estaba empezando a ver la luz al final del túnel, pero de repente, el archivo PSD se dañó y perdí todo el trabajo. Todavía me molesta recordarlo. En fin, sigamos. 🥺👇🏻

After that unfortunate incident and starting all over again, I continued working and making many changes. The background was one of the elements that I changed the most. Additionally, I decided to remove the hair since it's not a human character and added some branches with leaves that referred to nature for the part of Madcap Magus. But that didn't last long. I removed it later... I don't know, you could say that I was very demanding than usual in this design. 🤔🫣😋

Después de ese desafortunado incidente y de volver a empezar a realizar todo de nuevo, seguí trabajando y haciendo muchos cambios. El fondo fue uno de los que más cambié. Además, decidí quitarle el cabello, ya que no es un personaje humano, y le agregué unas ramas con hojas que hacían referencia a la naturaleza por la parte de Madcap Magus. Pero eso no duro mucho, lo quite mas adelante... No se, se podría decir que estaba muy exigente de lo acostumbrada en este diseño. 🤔🫣😋

Muchas cosas las volvi a cambiar, algunas cosas mejoraron, ah y cambie la mano para asi poder agregarle el poder, algunas luces, el fondo de nuevo y asi quedo, despues de tantas cosas. Al fin lo pude culminar y aca se los presento... Finalmente, llegué al resultado final de mi diseño para participar en el concurso de #Splinterlands de esta semana.

I changed many things again, some things improved, oh and I changed the hand so I could add the power, some lights, the background again and that's how it ended up, after so many things. Finally, I was able to finish it and here I present it to you... Finally, I arrived at the final result of my design to participate in this week's #Splinterlands contest.
