We catch up with Gabriel Tuck as he is leaving the Tingley Coliseum with Jeremiah Vastrix hot on his heels.
Jeremiah Vastrix - I don’t understand why it is that Rob Riot wouldn’t speak to me?
Gabriel Tuck - I think that you know more than you’re letting on.
They get a few more feet away from the arena when Jeremiah grabs Gabriel’s shoulder from behind and spins him around.
Jeremiah Vastrix - I assure you that I do not. You seem to know though. Why?
Gabriel Tuck - You think that Rob Riot doesn’t watch all of the promos as to know what his allies and his enemies are doing? You were an absolute pervert in MY promo! And when you met him,you made a comment about Abigail Dresden! Fuck not speaking to you, you’re lucky that Rob didn’t put you down like a dog for talking that way about his daughter!
Jeremiah stares open-mouthed at Gabriel for a moment before gathering his wits about him to be able to speak again.
Jeremiah Vastrix - And how was I supposed to know that she was his daughter? Her name is Abigail Dresden and not Abigail Hill.
Gabriel sighs and begins walking again with Jeremiah still right behind him.
Gabriel Tuck - You were supposed to control yourself. The playboy act is old.
Jeremiah Vastrix - Hang on. I am a playboy rich kid of a multitrillion dollar corporation that spans the world. Of course I am a playboy.
Gabriel Tuck - Most people buy that the Warhammer Corporation is a force for good. There are many of us that don’t buy it. Warhammer is a source of evil and depravity that even Armand’s Krimson Kharnival can’t compete with. And you are the heir to leadership. Assuming your own father doesn’t have you killed before you can inherit the company.
Jeremiah Vastrix - That’s the tug, isn’t it?
Gabriel Tuck - What? Also, give me a ride. I need to buy a new motorcycle with that money you gave me for saving your life.
Jeremiah Vastrix - Of course. Let’s get in the limo now.
Jeremiah takes the lead and brings Gabriel to his waiting limo. The driver hops out and opens the door for the two men so that they can get into the back.
Jeremiah Vastrix - To the local Harley shop, Jeeves.
Gabriel Tuck - Is his name Jeeves?
Jeremiah Vastrix - Nah, it’s more of an inside joke between us.
Gabriel Tuck - Now that is some of what I’m talking about. You should be more serious. Why can’t you be more serious?
Jeremiah pours himself a drink and offers Gabriel one, who accepts.
Jeremiah Vastrix - My older brothers, Ezekiel and Gregory were super hard into learning the business and getting ahead in life. My father took note of their ambitions with some pride and I wished to be just like them. However, my father’s paranoia began to take hold on him and he suspected that one of my brothers might wish to assassinate him like he did his own father to take the reigns of the company for himself. They died in industrial accidents, but I’m pretty sure that my father was to blame for their deaths. My mother sat me down and told me to take on the playboy lifestyle in order to get away from my father’s paranoia. It’s worked for years, but now my father is so paranoid that he wants me dead as well.
Gabriel takes a sip of his drink and nods.
Gabriel Tuck - And now that he’s begun to target you? It’s time to drop the act.
Jeremiah Vastrix - That’s easier said than done. I’m used to the playboy lifestyle. A girl in every city and so on and so forth. I am trying to change though.
Gabriel Tuck - You have a long way to go then.
Gabriel frowns as he hears a text message alert on his smartphone. He gets it out and looks at the text.
Gabriel Tuck - So, we have a new set of cards, but we won’t know which card that we will be on until essentially the last minute. I am going up against Steve Murdock.
Jeremiah Vastrix - We’re about twenty minutes out from that bike shop. You wanna shoot a promo while we wait?
Gabrel shrugs.
Gabriel Tuck - May as well.
Jeremiah Vastrix - Great.Set your phone up and hand it to me.
Gabriel opens up the FaceTwatter app and goes to set up Live before handing the phone to Jeremiah.
Gabriel Tuck - Hey there, Steve Murdock. Looks like it’s you and me in the ring again. We have some fun memories in there, you and I. You beating meand me beating you. This time you say that you’re going to pull out all of the stops. I wouldn’t expect anything less from you. I would expect you to go all in like you did with every other match that you’ve had in your entire career. Saying you’re going “all in” is like saying that you’re going to take another breath.
Now, I’m curious about your talkof an ally of mine? I don’t know who you might be talking about. If it’s Jeremiah, then you could probably see that he’s less ally and more pain in my ass. An ally is someone that you could rely on in times of need. While I believe that I am an ally to some people, I don’t have any misgivings to being their ally. No, I stand alone.
I won’tgo into detail about how I will being my “A game”. You know I will. I know that I deal with a man on a mission. A man who has something to prove. You know I also have something to prove. I’m also going to seek that ride to the top. Be it a match with Abigail, a rematch with Kara, or whatever life brings me.
I’m in your way? You are my way. I have to beat you inthe quickest time that I can in order to move onwith a title shot. However, I will extend an Olive Branch. If I defeat you in time to win the tag team title shot, I’d like for you to become my tag team partner in this.
Fight me then join me if we place third in the line up. It’s a good offer.
Gabriel motions for the feed to be cut and Jeremiah turns off FaceTwatter Live and hands the phone back.
Jeremiah Vastrix - What did you mean when you said that you have no ally? You have me.
Gabriel chucklesas he puts the phone in a pocket.
Gabriel Tuck - You? You nearly got me killed when that team intercepted us to take you out. You brought down my last promo with your perverted ways. You are more liability then ally.
Jeremiah is quiet for a little while before he answers.
Jeremiah Vastrix - Andfor all of that, I am sorry. I didn’t mean to bring you into my issues with my father. I am going to try to be a better man. I need to transform Warhammer into a better company.
Gabriel sighs.
Gabriel Tuck - Fine. I believe that you can change you. The company? That may be more than you can do by yourself, but you can try.
Jeremiah Vastrix - Great. I’m going to buy you the baddest motorcycle in the shop!
Gabriel Tuck - While it’s true that you don’t have to do that, I am going to let you.
The two laugh as the scene fades to black.
