Perhaps it is only a glimmer of light, but consider everything in this world without light. There would be no shadows, no colors, and nothing that we currently see and perceive with our eyes as we live our lives. There would only be emptiness—not darkness, but emptiness.

With light, the silhouettes of trees and grass become visible, as do the petals of tulips with their vibrant yellow hues. So beautiful, it makes us aware of the gratitude we have been given.
Light so gently penetrates the soul; that is the meaning that shines through every time we see what light reveals. Can we live without light? The answer is undoubtedly no. And I cannot imagine how this world would be without light.
