This is my first time to join ZapFic Monday, and the prompt for week 7 is beautiful. Here is my original story, which is also based on an actual experience (I'm not telling who! 😁):
At the art gallery, she looked at the painting of the woman on the red Dragnet lounge chair. "Wow, so beautiful," she said, mesmerized. "No . . . YOU are beautiful," he replied, looking at her intently. She blushed and smiled.
I used Microsoft Word to get the statistics of my story. It has 41 words with 226 characters (with spaces).
Moreover, I can't find a photo of the painting online; it must be from a private collection. But here is a photo of the chair, designed by Kenneth Cobonpue, a world-renowned furniture designer from Cebu, Philippines:
