THE MEMORABLE JOURNEY
Mr. and Mrs. James are always busy with work; they believe that working so hard will secure their future, neglecting their duties as parents to their two children, Benny and Beatrice. It got so much worse because they also worked on Sunday instead of being with their children to cover up for their lapses during the week. These children felt so bad because they had no one to talk to except for their friends in school.
The absence of their parents' attention started to affect both Benny and Beatrice's studies, but their parents were too busy to notice. This happened over and over again till the children gather enough courage to speak with their parents. After a parent-child talk, Mr. and Mrs. James realized their mistakes and apologized to their children then make plans to have a family camping night on the outskirt of the town.
Their parents applied for a leave from work to spend time with their children, and on their way home, Mr. James got a camping van to convey them to their camping destination. Benny and Beatrice were happy to see their parents with the van; it was then that they believed all they said to them. The next morning they packed their bags to set out on their journey in the camping van. After a long drive, they finally reached their destination and by then it was already late, they brought out their tent and set it out with the camping fire. After a long while, the family is back together having fun and enjoying each other company.
After their holiday was over, they returned home with much love in their hearts. Benny and Beatrice started doing well in their studies, and they concluded it was a memorable journey.
