21 July 2025, @mariannewest’s Daily 5 minutes message: not a mith

Happiness is not a myth. Although to many people it may seem like one. As I understand it, happiness is not a place of arrival, it is a way of traveling, a way of being in the world.

To understand, for example, that people are the way they are and that it is okay for them to be that way, even if sometimes we do not agree with them. That the world is the way it is, with its landscapes and people we love and who love us, and with the places at war and the people we do not understand, who are not like us.

When we let go and accept things as they are, we are getting closer to happiness. When we don't like something, we breathe, we accept, or we leave. Without getting upset. And that's okay. No one will feel bad.
