With style
you never lost your cool.
When adversity threatened
you smoked a cigarette,
and looked at it head on as if challenging it,
as if daring it to dare to bother you.
that has you up to your neck in water,
and faithful to your habit you kept calm,
you took out your usual cigarette,
you lit it, you recognized its victory,
and you set out to leave
as you had always lived: with style.
