Do you get angry quick ?, and when you do , does your mouth move before you can think that if it’s the best solution?
This freewrite is one adressing this. I do this and o have been doing this for long. Is it the best solution? , well no ! It ha brought me in not so desireable situations. Did I learn from it? Hell ya , but when it comes to my kids I didn’t learn shit.
When it comes to the best things I did in my life , THEM, I can’t keep my mouth shut. They are everything to me / to us and I will always speak my mind.
School is one but also the life they have with sports and hobbies. There have been times that my opinion embarrassed them but in the end it had its purpose. Now toninght on the news there was an item about a mum and her daughter, same age as my number 3, who after she said her piece of mind got stabbed! Toninght at the dinner table that was a thing that was topic of discussion. Would I as their mum now keep my mouth shut more times that’s I do now. That’s hard and extremely hard and not that I won’t try this from now on but it’s also because I think it’s not ok to turn a blind eye.
But I can also understand that they are worried for me.
I was thinking about it all while I was washing the dishes. It’s difficult and the best to try to not do it or do it when it’s safe. At the same time I see the news of Gaza and Israel and I see kids with a whole other fear. Fear of war and dead. Seeing them I know I can shut my mouth because there is always a worse situation to be in.
What a sadness , what a world,and now Halloween is celebrated where fear is a thing to look for. World is strange and all in entangled !
