In the depths of uncertainty, I once roamed,
Lost and adrift, with no place to call home.
A seeker of purpose, a wanderer untamed,
Yearning for solace, where my heart could be claimed.
I journeyed through shadows of doubt and despair,
Seeking answers elusive, but finding no repair.
The world demanded a version unreal,
A facade to wear, but inside, I couldn't feel.
I yearned to escape, to fade into the unknown,
A realm undefined, where my true self could be sown.
A place beyond maps, where no compass could guide,
Where the weight of expectations could finally subside.
But how could I find this elusive retreat,
When even I was unsure of what I seek?
A paradox engulfs, confusion reigns supreme,
As I yearn for a sanctuary, yet remain in this dream.
Perhaps, it's not a place on any map or land,
But a sanctuary found within, where I firmly stand.
A state of being, where authenticity thrives,
Where the essence of my soul genuinely arrives.
For the world may want versions that I cannot be,
But true liberation lies in embracing me.
In the depths of self-discovery, I'll reside,
Unveiling the mysteries that long have been tied.
So, I'll release the longing to disappear,
Embrace the journey, no matter how unclear.
And in this quest, I'll find my own space,
A place of belonging, where I'll find grace.
For the truest of places isn't on a distant shore,
But within myself, where I can be forevermore.
In the tapestry of life, I'll etch my own decree,
And discover the beauty of being authentically me.
