Well, I am getting old and it is time to put more walking into my exercise schedule.
I remember when I was at the telephone company on one of my breaks, looking outside and feeling a little frustrated. You see at the time one of my sisters just died, this was back in 2005. So not out of wanting to get in more shape, but to maybe think, I thought I would just go outside in our telephone company parking lot and walk that parking lot.
You see, when walking you can think and come up with answers to questions, yes, just walking. So from 2005 to the day I stopped working at the telephone company did I walk the parking lot. So I guess when I was at work I would walk the parking lot and I did that all the way to December of 2010.
At the end of 2010 in December I did work for a bit and also walked the parking lot. The reason that I quit working at the telephone company was that my department which had to do with landline information operators, was closing my office and I decided to retire early, cause I didn't want to commute to Sacramento, so I retired.
The thing is that I didn't walk anymore after I got retired, I tried to start walking again, but then I didn't. It was easy to walk at work, but somehow it wasn't the same.
I did try to walk my backyard trails which I did for awhile, but then somehow I quit that.
But now I am going to be 65 years old soon, and a lady that I signed up with to do the advantage plan C was helping me with some papers, then asked if I do any exercise, that question would end up at the insurance company doing the medicare advantage plan C. I told her I would go to my store, called Curry's and walk through all the aisles of the store to get more walking in. Then she asked how many times a week do I do that. I told her 5 times a week.
Well, just incase I don't get to go to the store I thought I would just walk certain blocks in my neighborhood. I just did that walk this morning and it took me from start to finish 28 minutes, so almost a half an hour of walking I put in this morning and if I end up at Curry's later in the day, I will walk the aisles of the store there too.
One good thing about walking is that one can meditate on a scripture, I was thinking of a scripture, as it is written, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4. This was when Jesus was talking to Satan.
So we have to live by every word the proceedeth out of the mouth of God. We have to really look at all the words of God.
That is why if the scripture say that the firmament is strong as a molten looking glass then we have to take that, and to me that is so true, that is why when you see NASA say they have rockets that go into outer space, can we really believe them? I know of people that don't even read the Bible say that NASA is false.
Well when you see a rocket of NASA go up, how is it that after awhile it starts to level off, like go sideways? They might even know there is a firmament that is strong as a molten looking glass and is the color of terrible crystal, but can not say as they need to keep the lie going and they can't have there rockets hit the firmament. You can find those scriptures talking about the firmament in Job 37:18 and Ezekiel 1:22. So those descriptions make it sound like the firmament is a solid thing, well it must be pretty solid if it houses the sun, moon and stars as stated in Genesis 1:17.
So NASA does lie to us, but have you ever really looked at the NASA logo? Notice that red serpent split tongue? That split tongue looks like the letter T. So if you would add in that T to the letters of NASA and then you can rearrange them to say, SATAN. Of course that old serpent, as it is written, And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12:9.
This is why Jesus let us know that we can cast out devils in Jesus name. For we live here on earth along with Satan and his angels and old unclean spirits that came from the flesh of the pre-flood giants as mentioned in the book of Enoch. The book of Enoch is not in our Bibles, but it is in
the Ethiopian Bible. Also Jesus referenced the book of Enoch when the Sadducees asked about the woman that married the 7 brothers at different times after each death of a brother.
Yes, we must live by every word that preceedeth out of the mouth of God.
So I had a good walk. It is good to meditate on scriptures while one is on a walk.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this the whole of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13.
