In the morning when the sun is barely up, is when I like to take my walk. Why walk? Well, for exercise. Also a nurse came to my house, part of one of my Medicare plans, well she told me I had high blood pressure.
So the guy that I am, which hates seeing the doctor, I thought I would try and take care of this by walking, but when I first started walking at the time when I did get my Medicare, at the age of 65 years old, I would walk for about an hour. As I write now, I am 66 years old.
Then my left foot would hurt, I think it has something to do with my running injury with my left foot some 40 years earlier.
Well, somethings never leave you, they just get dormant, until more strain is given in that area. So I quit walking and didn't even think about it.
Then some Medicare nurses from one of my plans wanted to come to my house and do blood pressure and stuff. So I let her come. That is when she told me I had high blood pressure.
So I thought, I guess I better get out there again and start walking. In those days I would walk when I could. I would walk later in the day, but it would get so hot. It was so hot, that I stopped walking again.
Then recently I got up early, like around 5 am. Still too dark, but at about 5:45 am, there was enough light and the sun would come up from the east in a few minutes.
So here I am today. Walking again, this time in the early morning when the sun just comes up from the east.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:27.
