Well, I seen this flower on my walk. Why do I walk? Well, I guess it is for more of health reasons. Walking does keep the body moving and a moving body is an active body.
Have any of you tried walking and praying at the same time? You know it may make your walking go by faster. Instead of walking and looking a the clock and saying, I still have a half hour to go, you could be busy praying.
You might say now, Ok David, what could I pray for? Well, you could pray for certain of your loved ones, praying in Jesus name that God's will be done their life and that the spirits of repentance and adoption be upon them.
Well, wouldn't you want God's will on your loved ones? Wouldn't it be nice if they could repent of their ways and chose Jesus and to be adopted into God's family?
Jesus did say, For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. Matthew 12:50.
Then you can keep your prayer going by picking another loved one and praying the same for that loved one.
Then again, Jesus told us to even pray for our enemies. Maybe if we prayed for our enemies that God's will be in their life and that the spirits of repentance and adoption be upon them, in Jesus name, maybe it will do a world of good.
Jesus prayed for Peter, that his faith fail him not. Sometimes I pray for myself, that my faith fail me not, it is good to pray for such things.
Another thing one might do as they walk, is to forgive people. There is a special place in hell for those that can't forgive.Even Jesus let us know that even on the cross, he is willing to forgive, for he said, Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:34.
Would you like a prayer that will help you to remember who you have to forgive? I pray a prayer like this, Father in the name of Jesus, show me who I have to forgive.
After you pray that prayer, wait and all of a sudden your memories will come, and as they come, start forgiving.
These are somethings that one might do as they walk.
Let's end with scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive, and ye shall have. Mark 11:24.
