This blog is connected to a blog, that is a couple of blogs back called, White Stuff On The Car Battery 6.22.2025.
Well, I did charge the battery, and it did charge up and I ran my brother's car, the 2001 Hyundai Accent for 10 minutes and that was all fine.
Then the next week when I was supposed to start it again, the battery was totally drained, I mean no power at all, like the week before. I would ask my self, what is draining all this voltage on this battery?
I would think, is the battery so bad that it can't hold a charge that long? Or maybe the alternator is not charging at all? Stuff that goes through my mind, when I am trying to figure things out.
Once I read a book, and there was an experiment going on, and after the experiment, all the cars in the lot that was close to that experiment, had their batteries drained of power, totally dead, batteries.
I thought about it and I do know there is a cell tower down my street, on the other side of the freeway. I would think, could that be it? Something is happening with that cell tower, that caused the battery to drain like that?
But that couldn't be right, as my other cars, start just fine. It had to be something else.
So I just go and take out my old school battery charger from the 70's or 80's that can pump up to 10 amps at a time to charge a car battery, and charge the battery it did. Even bubbles were being formed from where you add the water. So the old school battery charger can make the battery bubble.
Well the next day, I unhooked the old school battery charger and I started up the car. Again every thing is fine and I start to put my tools away. Then I walk past the rear of the car, the brake lights are on.
I went into the car and stepped on the brakes thinking something is stuck. Well, the brake lights just stayed on. I'm thinking, well this is it, why the battery drain to nothing the next week.
Well, I will have to fix the car, or get the car fixed that is. I will have to take it to my mechanics and have them figure it out.
I don't plan on taking the car to the mechanics till after 4th of July weekend. And what do I do in the meantime? Well, in the meantime I will disconnect the battery, so the battery won't drain. This way I won't have to charge it up again from empty.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; Ecclesiastes 3:7.
