It was Mother's Day and I went to Ayala Mall to buy some stuff I needed for work I was about to meet with Jessa for a lunch date.
While waiting for her, I checked the area and looked for a spot to hang out while she was still busy packing orders for her small business. I walked to the food court and saw some food that looked like it would be excellent for lunch. I take a seat and go get some munchies to kill time. After that, I headed downstairs to look for a coffee shop, when I found out about Angkol J. The spot appears on my food app as well, and I know they provide meals that I enjoy and love most of the time. When I went there, I was overjoyed to see that the Binignit was still available.

When I was in the province, I begged my Aunt to prepare one for me, but each time she went to the market, the ingredients were not available, which was unfortunate. As a result, I had to leave the province with a shattered heart. lol
So, going to this place, I stepped inside and was fortunate to find a seat. The place is pretty lovely, and I saw some people sitting inside doing some computer work. This location is also ideal for those looking for a peaceful spot to work, similar to a conventional coffee shop. I went to order the Binignit and also ordered a cup of coffee. The prices are fairly affordable, and aside from Binignit, they also provide various Filipino sweets and Cebuano specialties. I also like how polite the personnel is and how efficient the service is. The environment is lovely and soothing, as well as quiet.

I was overjoyed when I began to enjoy my Binignit. I know it won't be as tasty as my Aunt and Mom used to prepare, but it still tastes wonderful, which helps me satisfy my needs. I lingered for a few minutes to wait for Jessa while I enjoyed the atmosphere, my coffee, and the Binignit. I also noted that on Mondays, they provide a 50% discount on all coffees.
People who work close by may definitely benefit from their discount, and I would recommend the coffee since it tastes great.
The next time I visit, I'll definitely try the other desserts, as well as the barbecue and some of the Filipino delicacies they have to offer.
