Happiness is not so much in having or sharing. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give - Norman MacSwan
Describe what you see?
A happy man showing a basket of his harvest of the day.
Describe what you feel?
I'm so happy for this man for what he got from his harvest. He can't hide the happiness that shows in his smile and in the sparkle of his eyes.
Write a story or poem about what you think is going on?
It was one of those walks in the woods when my friends and I cross paths with Ricardo. He was carrying a big basket and looked very happy while walking towards us.
One of my friends shouts to Ricardo " Hey Ricardo why do you look so happy?"
Ricardo rushes over and proudly showed us what he got.
"Look at these beautiful coffee cherries! This is my first harvest after 3 years of taking care of those coffee plants that I planted in my backyard. I carefully hand-picked each cherry just to make sure that what I got are the ripe ones only" said Ricardo.
That's a lot of hard work Ricardo. Are you going to sell them? - Eli asked Ricardo
"Actually, I'm on my way to see my friend Eddie. He promised me a year ago that he'll buy my first harvest and I'm so glad that the cherries I got are of good quality." Ricardo said
"The cherries looks real good man, I hope your friend gives you more for that" - Pichi Says
Ricardo's eyes are sparkling with joy while telling us about his deal with his friend and the cherries that he got. And after a minute or so, we congratulate Ricardo for his harvest and wish him good luck on his deal with his friend, and go on our way.
After a few seconds, Ricardo was calling our names.
Eylin! Jerryl! Pich! Eli! wait!!!
Ricardo rushes to us again with a small bag in his hand.
"I know you guys love coffee and I want to share some cherries with you." - Ricardo said
Jerryl replied - But you are selling them, Ricardo!
No. No. I just want to share these beans with you. I always see you laughing whenever you guys are having your morning coffee. And I want my coffee to be part of your morning that brings smiles to your faces. - says Ricardo
"That is so sweet of you Ricard, Okay, we will accept this but promise us that you'll sell us some of your cherries on your next harvest. Deal?" - Eylin says
Ricardo agreed and walk away from us smiling knowing that he made some people happy by sharing his harvest.
