Hello everyone welcome to my blog .
Here comes a short story of an advise from akpan's dad..
.
The Deadline
Akpan had been putting off his project for weeks. Every day, he'd tell himself, "I'll start tomorrow." But tomorrow never came. With the deadline looming, Akpan finally sat down to work. Panic set in as he realized how much he had to do.
As he frantically typed away, Akpan couldn't shake off the feeling that he was running out of time. His mind wandered to all the "what ifs" and "maybes." What if he didn't finish on time? Maybe he'd fail.
Just as Akpan was about to give up, he remembered his father's words: "Procrastination is like a thief; it steals time and opportunity." Akpan took a deep breath, refocused, and poured his heart into the project.
When the deadline arrived, Akpan submitted his work, exhausted but relieved. Though he wouldn't win any awards for perfection, he was proud of himself for overcoming procrastination and completing the task.
From that day on, Akpan made a promise to himself: he'd tackle tasks head-on, rather than putting them off until the last minute. The lesson stuck, and Akpan's productivity – and sanity – improved dramatically.
Thank you all for reading to the end😘
