"Don't relax," she said. "You need to keep moving."
Kelper blinked and continued to move around the room, moving his arms as well as his legs.
"How long do I need to keep doing this?" he asked.
Maggie smiled through the glass.
"Until the poison is out of your system."
"Ok," Kelper said, his voice nervous. "And how long might that be?"
"I don't know, Kelper. This is the first time I've done this. Maybe a few hours, maybe a day. I really don't know."
Kelper didn't reply but kept moving. He wasn't a very active fellow, normally. Exercise was something he avoided. He was already out of breath and his muscles were aching. Perhaps that was the poison. Maggie told him he had been exposed to the chemical when he broke into the fridge in the lab. He'd been looking for a sandwich or something else to eat.
