Never more in time has this man held more poignancy than now. His standup and his comedy speak to the world we are in now and I thank everything that he is not here now because he would probably just kill himself from the mass stupidity and hysteria. Bill Hicks was a voice for our times, both his and now ours. His messages stand strong and will likely always be relevant. I IMPLORE every person who reads this to go and find more Bill Hicks and listen to his messages. He was a comic of course, but he was also a brilliant mind that had a way of portraying our fallacies in a way that many couldn’t quite understand or get. He paved the way for a generation of comics after him with some directly stealing his material (too many to count). Now it is time to bring this man back to the forefront since everyone is locked inside, they need something to laugh at but also something to make them actually think. That was the magic of Bill Hicks.
