Quick Recap & How To Join:
Maynia is a month-long writing challenge in which aspiring writers try to write 50,000 words towards a complete story by the end of May. The daily goal is approximately 1613 words, though you can do more or less each day as long as you reach the golden 50,000 mark.
Each day a writing prompt will be posted; it could be a word or an image -- something to inspire you and further your story.
In previous Madness rounds, that prompt would be @mariannewest's daily #freewrite prompt. This time the prompt will be different. You might even want to use both! It's up to you. You may not want to use a prompt at all -- that's okay too. It's completely optional.
Just leave a comment letting us know you want to join in the writing fun and you'll be added to the spreadsheet!

I have the unfortunate fortune of living in the future -- @mariannewest usually posts her #freewrite prompt at around 11:50PM my time, so the daily #Maynia posts will be posted soon after so I can include it, just after Midnight my time.
It may still be April 30th for some of you when the first #Maynia post is posted.
Timezones are awkward things, but we'll work it out. Just write each day and leave your word-count comment when you're done for the day. 😊
