Being sick is a situation in which none of us wants to be, we all want to be in good health to be able to carry out our daily activities without any limitations. The matter becomes more complicated when that health condition requires hospitalization, since it generates additional expenses in medicines and other supplies that were not part of our budget, not to mention the risk of death that comes with a serious pathology.
In my particular case, thanks to our creator, I rarely get sick, but last week I was the victim of an "abscess" that came out under both my arms and they are very painful "balls". This condition under my arms caused a very uncomfortable and painful situation, which merited the purchase of an anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment.
The medicine I was given was strong, however, I think I needed an additional dose in order to mitigate the pain I was feeling at that moment, a pain so strong that it prevented me from sleeping peacefully.
It is possible that the pain I had was more tolerable than the pain that a patient with a terminal illness may suffer, or who has suffered an accident with multiple traumatisms, which sometimes even the strongest painkillers do not have the effect of calming the pain, that even if they are given an additional dose of any medication they continue to suffer from the pain, however, for me it was very difficult because it prevented me from performing my tasks normally.
Sometimes an additional dose is what we need, but there are other situations where much more than that is needed to find a solution to some ailment. Situations like these are experienced daily in different places, where some get what they need to get relief, while others do not even get to fully recover.
Let me know what you think!
