Every situation we face, every challenge that comes our way deserves a response from us, a response that helps us to overcome the situation we face, we cannot remain passive in the face of an adverse situation that puts our physical, mental or spiritual integrity at risk.
The problem with many of us is that we look for answers in the wrong places, when the situation exceeds our capacity to respond, we listen to the wrong advice that leads us to make the wrong decisions.
Sometimes we just need to have patience for the answer to come, logically if we are waiting for it from the right source... What is the right source? The right source to get an answer to your situation is called Christ.
The Psalmist said: "Psalms 18:6 In my distress I called unto the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him in his ears."
PRESENTATIVELY I waited for the answer. I waited for the LORD, and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
Many times the answer can take time, Daniel began a season of prayer seeking an answer from Jehovah, for 21 days he waited patiently for his answer and when the Angel sent came with the answer he let him know that the answer was sent from the first day, however, an adversary confronted him trying to stop the answer from coming.
This makes us understand that the Lord's answer for us will often meet with opposition but it will come in the Lord's time, we just have to be patient and keep hoping and crying out.
A blind man named Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus for an answer, the bible records that the people around him urged him to be quiet, he did not listen to those who told him that Jesus would not hear him, he kept his cry, his hope and found an answer to his condition.
A sick woman looking for an answer in the wrong sources spent all she had, all her fortune and far from finding an answer she was getting worse, however, she kept her hope and when she approached the right source, she received an answer to her problem.
No matter how long it takes, the answer will always come from the Lord, so don't look for answers to your situation in the wrong places, come to Jesus and find the answer you are looking for.
Let me know what you think!
