Eventhough this is a prompt for blue velvet, I can't stop thinking about red velvet cake. Recently, I am into giving my chance to bake cake. My aunt told me to pick up baking once I told her I had never bake a cake before. She was amused as well as shocked, but at the same time told me it was never too late to learn baking now.

I got my hands into my first cake — butter cake. I thought it was the simplest cake from the name itself but it was also a cake which would be easily failed if certain step was wrong. Nevertheless, I made it although I overbeat the eggs a little. Haha!

Then, I tried baking rice bread because I wanted Jansen to try on gluten-free for awhile to see whether it eased his mysterious abdominal pain. Then, chocolate cake. Then brownie. All were a success! Maybe, I have a little talent in baking. Lol...

And actually, my next goal will be carrot cake, sponge cake, chiffon cake and red velvet cake. But blue velvet cake? Wow, that will be another level for me. Haha.

Anyway, I love putting a photo into my freewrite and this looks relaxing. It sure knows how to relax on blue velvet. Lol...
