It's time to use the mail. You have to mail it to him. Mail him the check. It's antiquated, but it's still how landlords do things around here. WHY? No idea. It's like landlords haven't caught up to the rest of the financial services industry. It doesn't matter if the property management company is big or small, they just don't know how to do what needs to be done.
OH
Just learned that my kid is still in the imitation phase. Which is a cool way to learn absolutely!! I don't know why I want him to switch into creative mode at a younger age. Silly of me. I mean, he DOES. He insists that the stories I tell be a different way, which is him inserting his own creative preferences.
He loves for stories to be all yay and no boo. It makes him sad, the idea of giving up one thing for another. I get it, kid. Me, too. There's always a way to get back anything you've ever lost in his world.
Except death. Death happens, and he knows that and there's no coming back from that. Maybe that's part of why. Of why he holds tightly to all the other things. He wants to believe that more things never have to be lost. And I want that for him, too. I want to never have a day when I won't be able to carry him on my shoulders any more.
This cat. This cat wants to be between me and the computer.
