Zomg.
What are all the stereotypes? ALL OF THEM
Jocks are dumb is one... one that is, in general, demonstrably false.
Like, not to rag on anyone else, but I think it's pretty well-demonstrated that sports, especially at higher levels, are mentally demanding, and that when jocks have grades that suffer, that can often be chalked up to how many other demands there are on them. Jocks are smart. Plus, so much of "intelligence" is dictated by how well we take care of our bodies. People who are able to stay physically fit are able to stay mentally fit.
Ok, what's another one? That shoes are
that's not a stereotype. I don't even know what I was going for. Let's just start by generally dismissing all the stereotypes about intelligence... I think. Just, well, Intelligence isn't as easily measurable as people who talk about it in media sometimes indicate. Look at all those modifiers. My point is, IQ tests measure something, but it's not this difficult to define quality "intelligence". It's "how familiar are these puzzles to you" and "how good are you at these particular puzzles?"
Which is a super fun thing to measure! I love games! I think my favorite competition for myself is, "how quickly can I understand a new game and how to defeat my opponents who also aren't familiar with it"
Well, that's time. I guess that wasn't ALL the stereotypes.
