Improvisation will always be a challenge, especially in writing.
This is my contribution to @Dayli.Prompt on June 19, 2025, promoted by @mariannewest.
He turned on his computer. He opened the screen to start writing whatever came to mind first. But he didn't even have a topic (or was this his topic?). He had thought that his destiny today as a writer would be different, but, oh well... Sometimes you can't do more than what you have or what is presented to you. Improvising was not his strong suit. In his youth, he had enjoyed playing “exquisite corpses” in literary games with his friends. The words flowed in the cadence that the group set. Now he has stopped... Words don't always flow. Above all, because what matters is the image. Like the empty white space on this screen or this paper.
