In this Week 53 of the ZAPFic50 Friday, the prompt "sale" reminds me of how retailers lure customers to listen to their sales pitch. The ultimate goal is to sell their products by all allowable means. Some strategies work while others may not. But you won't know until you try different tactics.
Below is my story:
The holiday was approaching. Mulhollard Market bustled with customers. Majhidi chuckled at their expressions.
"This will be a good week to introduce your new pickled herring," he whispered to his brother, Jindry, after carefully monitoring their stall for interest.
Disheartened after only one sale, Jindry suggested showcasing small, free samples.
